If nothing else I trust MC’s ability to identify the right talent for us. Many didn’t approve of Mario going to the extent he did to land Mali.

He went to the end with Cam and John Mateer. Even though we didn’t land Mateer he was 100% worth the pursuit.

So hearing reports we backed off Derrek Cooper and Calvin Russell along with not wanting to meet Isaiah Horton’s NIL demands didn’t have me concerned.

There's always a few who will say that because they are emotional toddlers and write off any recruit who doesn't sign his name in blood the moment he gets a UM offer and carve the U into his ********s. I don't know how they handle all the portal stars we have.
