ACC Refs

Wah wah wah wahhhhhh.
I don't give a f....

Holding or not...FSU's first TD was a gift after a BS facemask call.

FSU wasn't called for targeting after lunging crown first at Mensah.

Cry me a river....BS calls flow both ways.
We got Cane fans arguing a hold being called in our favor for once lol How many times have these refs ****ed us over the years. They literally took #6 away from us. I don’t give a ****. Sucks to suck. We got the W. Yall CIS Noles can keep crying lol

Fitz had it then dual control. Right call but for ***** sale can we teach punching the call away on bail marry attempts?
Kicking ball down on Hail Mary throws is obviously preferred, but appeared Fitz was behind WR & not really positioned to just knock it down. His athletic/leaping ability against a taller WR saved our ***. Incredible play.

Welp!! I was wrong lol

This is by far the best shot I’ve seen

Best explanation I heard was from Channing Crowder. Both hands on the ball goes to Offense. Both hands on ball, ball on chest plus hands is a possession. UM ball. Two touches verses one touch. Additional views confirmed. F**k FSU, f**king whining b*t*hes. Boo F**king Hoo.🙌🏽

I’m interested to see if there is a public response from the ACC; because whatever they tell Norvell, he’ll tell everybody when the media asks him. So they might as well kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone

See everyone is busy saying simultaneous possession as the basis for giving Deuce the catch. But for that you need actual possession still, not just to have your hands on the ball. The argument to say he had actual possession at any point is just not there. Period

I mean you can clearly see this shouldn't have been a holding call. HOWEVER you can clearly see FROM THIS VIEW which is the one the ref throws the flag from, why it absolutely looks like a hold. The LT has his left hand firmly gripped on Wilson and swipes down with his right hand and that causes Wilson to fall as he has a long arm engaged and leaning heavily forward. Its honestly excellent by the LT. BUT that doesn't mean it doesn't look exactly like a hold and pull down. Which is the problem with that technique when you employ it WHILE ENGAGED. Just is what it is. If you swipe the hands before you have engaged and have a grip on the defender and they fall you wont get called for a hold. But doing it while engaged, it gets called wrong all the time tbh.
@gogeta4

Played LT and wore the same # as that guy....

I was a pass pro wizard as an undersized left tackle.

My patented move was the swipe down on ends arms, pull move...because i kind of had quick hands..it probably worked 90% of the time for me and typically caused the end to fall down lol. The end that worst hated it was my suite mate and teammate who actually made it to the nfl...he called it cheating and he would ask me to stay after practice to teach how i did it lmaoo.

That being said ITS A HOLD in the video above. *The ends would complain to our coaches/refs that the one i did was a hold but it wouldnt ever be called because i never actually grabbed at a jersey or locked in. and my hands were usually always INSIDE..This guy has his whole right arm locked in on wilsons pads on he outside an then yanks him down with the leverage of Wilson who is about to run the bend..but this was an OBVIOUS HOLD...an looks like the ref is directly in front of it if thats the one that called it.

lol exactly, they all point to the single early still shot as if that’s the end of the sequence rather than the beginning.

The penalty flag came in from the ref behind the QB, not the judge lined up by the LBs who has it directly in front of him to see the LTs right arm.

@Calinative they called this same move on CI CI last year.

I also see your point and the guys you posted as guys that played OL.

Its kidn of taught to lineman to do this....but at the same time some subjective refs call it a hold.

IN THE ACC ive seen them call it nuff. Against our own....add to it.... we went years without getting holding calls on our dl lol

ok yea..i havenet re watched the game just the clips on here...and the ref directly in front would of had a good view if thats what he was looking for...

what could of also happened is these guys were holding like held every play and now the ref ison call for a hold extra hard now as he has allowed sh*t to go and missed calls...and seeing the swipe down from a far and the manner of which wilson fell is an easy hold call.

The fact that it was called before the catch or anything takes away the consipiracy theory approach to it....

I agre. It was more so my original point that it is absolutely being called a hold for the swipe/pull, not the other actions. AND specifically because Wilson goes down to his face (if he never falls I'd 100% bet its not called).... Which is why I've been saying I absolutely GET the call from the ref. Live and even on first replay I thought it was just a full on pure pull down. But like the next day with the slow-mo view from behind the defense angle (opposite of ref that threw flag), is where you clearly see OT disengage his right hand (so no jersey still being grabbed) and then swipe down....

I agree they were holding a lot with no calls and imo missed the hold I think legit like the play before that one if im not mistaken, and then you see wilson go down to his face and get back up with his shoulder pad ****ed up.... I def get it. Wasn't even arguing about them actually calling that, more so the actual technicality with slow mo replay if it "SHOULD BE" a hold. I watch that and don't think it should be one especially when you factor in he was getting help from the guard (makes it signficantly harder to throw a flag for hold when a guy is being doubled), plus he was pretty much already stonewalled anyways, and it was a hail mary....
