ACC Refs

The OT grabbed the rusher by the front of his jersey and pulled him straight down then laid down on him. That is automatically a hold. I saw it happen about 5 times in a high school game last night before they finally called it.
It was definitely a hold. Did they not see Wilson's shoulder pads out of his jersey?

2 plays changed the entire trajectory of the game. Poyser targeting and 97 losing his mind. I would love for 97 to be suspended. Take that back to Nebraska

Naw there was a hold they just said the wrong players number when they called it. RT clearly grabbed defensive end after he was beat.

That was not a catch....no way. I'm not sure if it was a pick tho...

Now the hold, how the **** do you throw a guy down without 'holding' him.

From my vantagepoint, I thought it was an incomplete pass. Replay showed INT.

The highlights are now on Youtube. I was watched the replay live and concentrated on the LOS. From normal speed, it does kind of look like Wilson got held and thrown down. In slow motion replay, looks like Wilson is double teamed at first, then #77 does grab his jersey with both hands and just kind of pushed Wilson to the ground. I think Wilson also slips. I don't think that is the hold. Lightfoot gets by his guy fairly easy (#71) and 71 reached out and grabs Lightfoot's arm for just a split second as Lightfoot is now in the backfield. That was probably the correct hold. Should have been on #71 and not #77.

Now, even the split-second hold on Lightfoot was questionable in my opinion, but that type of hold gets called more frequently once the defender has beat the OL and is in the backfield unevaded to the QB

Wilson's momentum was carrying him downward and the o-lineman kind of kept pushing him down as Wilson started going down. Wilson got overpowered and lost leverage. I don't think that was the hold.

Even if they got the touchdown they still had to convert the Two pointer. It wasn’t like that was the game winning play.
