ACC Refs at it again

they took two turnovers from us yesterday. The fumble on App State's opening drive and the INT by Redwine. They called him for a PI on the pick which was complete BS. I hope they don't cost us a game when we play tougher opponents.

It's going to be sooooooo bad for the Notre Dame game, smh...
 
it's a Cane thing… lol it doesn't phase me anymore. we are the MOST hated team ever. I LOVE IT!
 
It was Ron Cherry he doesn't discriminate. He and his crew are terrible no matter who they officiate.
 
Fumble was pretty bad yea but cmon dude the PI was blatant. He held him for literally ten yards

This is ridiculous. The fumble was after the whistle blew and it was clearly pi on the pick. We've had our issues with refs over the years but neither of those calls were blatant misses.

I think I read somewhere that replay officials are now located at the ACC offices in NC. Big boards with all the games up where a team evaluates what's challenged at what game. Having replay officials at every game is too expensive & apparently this is now the way it's done.
 
And the answer is: Beat the snot out of teams like we've done... and like we used to do... and then it doesn't matter.
 
Redwine is using his hands too much in coverage all over the field. Sometimes he is not even looking for the ball.He could have been called many more times for interference from what I saw.The fumble by App St should have been our ball.

Still love the UT Cotton Bowl. Like a 1000 yards in penalties and we still slaughtered them. I could have sworn Denis mouthed "Fu.. you, we'll beat the crap out of them anyway" after one call.

That game was epic. Co-worker is a big Texas fans and we talked about that game the one day. Hilarious. I just remember the announcer (can't think of his name) saying how much of a dis-grace we were and how it wasn't football and how he wouldn't vote us for #1 although we were, at the end of the year, playing better than anyone else. Heck, remember all the smack talk Texas did the week leading up to the game? The one 'sign' "We mess with Texas". Good times.

As soon as I saw Ron Cherry I was like uh oh. He is the absolute worst Referee I have ever seen. On the PI call I don't think it was PI but he was holding him. I missed the first 10 mins helping someone at a wedding so I didn't see the fumble call.
