Ciscar needs to have a day. GT's lineup is absurd. Hitting over .350 as a team and a team OPS of 1.099 or something like that. If any of our pitchers could do it, I think it is Ciscar. He could get the crazy eyes going and start talking to himself on the mound all day.

They can mash, but I wasn't all that impressed w their pitching. Their closer threw 52 pitches in the 6th - 8th and allowed UVA to extend their short-lived lead in the 6th.

I am firmly in the anti-JD club, but I don't mind being aggressive in the 9th with a 6-run lead, even if it gets someone thrown out. That's your last chance, so push the envelope and try to get a couple more.

It’s because our hitting philosophy doesn’t align to where he came from.

USC Upstate is all about the long ball and they tend to hit off their front foot and live and die trying to create backspin.

I don’t think he’s getting enough separation in his load to have the length in his swing to get his barrel in the zone any way other than just forcing it last second and beating it into the ground.

You managed to use load, length, and beating it in a g rated thought process.
