I think the vibe at ACC media days was akin to that of a company about to go under/get raided.

These votes are basically a media member’s way of photocopying their *** on the scanner.

We’ll see 1 or 2 of these ACC teams crack the top 25 mid-season, even though they won’t be in the initial poll. The AP won’t be able to keep propping up SEC teams that started ranked but will be .500 or worse by mid-season — they’ll fall out despite ESPN’s best efforts. Bottom line: Miami should face some quality opponents and end up with a better SoS than it looks on paper right now.
