ACC Might Be The Dumbest League

The biggest issue I have is Big 10 and SEC commissioners are out there politicking for their teams to be in.... Radio silence from ACC and last year, no comments about Miami until they were left out.... atrocious leadership in the league

I have bad news for everybody who understandably is mad about the Notre Dame game and how it’s not working for us on the obvious head-to-head level

If we drop that game as a victory because we’re ****ed about head-to-head, it also would drop our strength of schedule strength of record FPI game control stats and we would fall down further

As another aside, if we were still in the BCS era heading into this weekend before the results of this past Saturday, Miami would actually be 15th, not 12th, and Notre Dame would still be where they were.

I understand if they went to a straight computer model it might not necessarily look exactly like the BCS, but it probably would be pretty **** close

Be careful what you wish for

I am not defending any of this ****. I’m just trying to give some information due with it as you will.

Again, these rankings are before the results of Miami Virginia Tech weekend. I have not seen the new version yet.

Another reason to drop it is to replace it with an acc game. Miami plays its best out of the gate. Time to get into the ACC schedule quicker. Also play a non conference game in November like most of sec does. That way another acc game can be played earlier while team is healthiest. Do these two things and hopefully Miami stops dropping 2 games they should win and sos won't matter if they are 11-1
