Wasn’t he a preseason all ACC? Or am I thinking of a different guy

He retired about 3 weeks ago. Constant shoulder issues (not something you want being a safety).

Moving forward it would be helpful when posting an update to indicate the expected role of the injured player (if known) i.e., incumbent or expected starter, battling for a starting spot, massive recruit, leading rusher in the spring game, backup but expected (or not) to play meaningful snaps, etc.

Most of us (LCE excluded) do not know every player on opposing ACC rosters.
