Here are the facts:

FSU brought in SEVERAL QBs for visits before they even called Ashton Daniels. They realized, relatively quickly, they weren’t even in the ballpark financially. Literally embarrassed themselves. So they had to start back at zero, with no credibility in the industry because they insulted several kids with lowball offers, so they panicked and signed a kid who was 5-19 as a starter, and genuinely cannot play. He’s awful. He’s literally always been awful. But he’s big and has a strong-ish arm, so people get blinded, because they have no idea what a real QB is.

So they paid him bottom of the market money to come in and “lead” a middle of the road ACC roster.

They’re hopeless. Keelon Russell is going to drop 50 on them in 2 weeks, literally. I doubt Norvell survives to make it to Hard Rock. They’ll pull the plug at 2-4 after Louisville beats them. They have 2-3 players who would even sniff the field here.
