ACC Games Week 13- Nov 21-22

- Pitt needs to beat GT

- Need VT to beat UVA

- According to ESPN we are above Duke with the same ACC record so if the 2 above things happen (and we beat Pitt) then we are in the ACC championship against SMU unless I’m missing something ?

BTW Kansas state is up 47-35 (pending PAT/2pt) and if BYU folds to Cinci…..

Looks like USC will be losing to Oregon & #24 Houston lost to TCU…Missouri also losing to OU will most likely drop them out of the top 25, SMU will surely jump into the top 25 after today.

So it’s either SMU and Duke loses and we’d be in, or Duke loses and SMU and VT wins?

I think SMU has to lose to Cal next week to get in. There is an applet out there somewhere. The Duke game and next weeks Virginia/VTech game are both inconsequential to being in Charlotte. GTech loses and we need SMU to lose next week and we are in the ACCCG.

Miami reaches ACC Championship Game if ...

  1. Beats Virginia Tech and Pitt
  2. Virginia beats Virginia Tech
  3. Pitt beats Georgia Tech, Duke beats North Carolina, SMU beats Louisville
  4. Cal beats SMU, Wake Forest beats Duke
In this scenario, Virginia (7-1 in ACC) and Miami (6-2) go to Charlotte with four-way tiebreaker advantages over Georgia Tech/Pitt/SMU.
