@Dwinstitles I didnt realize Manny never gave up more than 21 ppg as our DC.
He had some talent at DT. I am a believer if he called the defense last year it would be the same thing. I know others believe different and we finna find out this year. I thought DT talent has gotten lower but he has a phenom true fresh in LT...and by reports I'm sure that kid will make us look better. So if the talent upgrade is there as they say we should have a better overall defense.

I never loved his defense but it wouldn't have been because you can see in certain games when he took over, it all changed.

Watched it Monday night and really enjoyed the inside look at the program. Part 2 is next Monday if I’m not mistaken.

I think JHH has the chance to be special. Pair that with the 3 grown *** men & LT & that is a nice solid rotation. I know Ford & Miller aren’t all world but if they’re fresher then the guy across from them in the 4th bc were deep there I think they can do work still. Nesta has those dino arms but I haven’t thrown the towel in on him.

Wisconsin scored 30+ 2X.

In Manny's 3 years as DC, we gave up 30+ points seven times.

Those same 3 years (2016 - 2018), Alabama gave up 30+ points six times.

Not apples to apples, we know we played some bad offenses, but I don't understand the flack Manny gets around here for the job he's done as a DC. Makes no sense to me. I've posted probably a dozen threads over the past 5 years with indisputable data, he's one of the better DCs in the country and Miami has had one of the better defenses since he arrived. You can't dispute that.

Don’t you know, It’s not about facts but how you feel
And allot of people just like to hate

Won 10 games here the year before that with Malik Rosier as QB.

If Richt hadn’t gotten sick he would have built a monster here.
Like to believe you are right but you could just see something was wrong, anyone else remember the game vs BC where he and Bandy was together you could just see the lost look on Richt in hindsight it was very telling.

That was good, could've done without seeing the ticket salesman.

But I had to shake my **** head when coach told the story about frenk and what he said after the nd win. To paraphrase, frenk said, now I understand why football is important and the exposure it gives us.
