Interesting stuff about how other Coaches in the ACC feel about Miami.
ACC Coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2016 | AthlonSports.com

The most damning quotes:
"I think the biggest shock when we played them was at linebacker and how below-average they were at that position. When you think of Miami, you’re thinking about guys like Ray Lewis and Dan Morgan, Jonathan Vilma and Denzel Perryman.”

“In our opinion, they weren’t very good at all last year and nobody on the front four scared you as a pass rusher.”

“I know they’ve recruited well, and they seem to have some good young players on that defense, but the new staff is really going to have to develop those guys and build some competitiveness. They were pretty good in the secondary because they were an older, physical group with some size, but the front seven was as bad a Miami team as I’ve seen in some time.”

With Kuligowski running the show on the DL and some of the DL that we have, I think that'll be the last time we hear a quote like that for a long, long time - hopefully....

Should say "we got our licks in under Golden because a high school team could run on their defense, but when Richt got hired we let out a loud groan....they he hired a coach Kool and we **** our pants. It was fun beating up on miami but it looks like we're gonna go back to getting our asses kicked, but hey at least we get to visit Paradise every other year."

Kool is going to make that anonymous sissy facquit eat his words and Kool's *** at the same time.

This a billion times plus. Our scheme was so putrid you'd never see the talent shine even if it was all over the field. I hope and pray that coach is an FSU coach, and they are completely blindsided by what is about to smack them.
It was the scheme

Every player on defense needs a copy of the quotes pasted inside their headgear..So they can read them just before Kick Off...

No need to hope man. It will get done.

I wish somebody would've said the coaching was awful last year, but another coach is not going to throw another coach under the bus.

What incentive do these coaches have to speak favorably about a conference opponent? They recruit against each other. This is a perfect opportunity for them to shut off coach speak and take a few shots.

LoL, these comments are only valid if you had the current staff on board. With a competently coached team, they are much better and more competitive. Miami was dead last in the nation in the number of penalties and penalty yards. Split that in half and that equates to 1 or 2 more wins.

Hard to argue about the linebackers as we're starting two true freshmen. Line play will be light years better just by scheme alone. Willis on board and kids in shape are going to make it a much better front.

It's crazy to hear quotes like that, but also hear how much the new staff loves our DL talent. It just shows how bad the previous staff was in development, and how horrible the previous scheme was.

Pretty **** sad evaluation. Shows how far this program has fallen.

This year will show how far and long the climb back will be.
