Great play, but highlights the problem with the QB protection rules. Defenders have to be super careful to not hit a sliding QB, so the QB can fake them out with a slide. As far as I'm concerned, once a QB runs past the LOS he should be considered a RB.

I'm probably on an island here, but the fake slide shouldn't be allowed. That's some bs. It's designed to protect the qb so the defenders instinctively pull back so as not to get the penalty. Then he takes off running, ....f that and f Pickett.

Fair point but still to have the wherewithal mid play to do that was spectacular
