So Mario would have to go 7-10 in his next 17 ACC games to have the same record as Mike. I'll go out on a limb and say he does better than that over the rest of this season and next.

Keep harping on it, but telltale sign of the program is Gus & his gadget offense. It’s lazy as ****. Elite teams are physical & don’t play backyard football. This is how teams with inferior talent scheme & play. It takes away from physicality & also impacts physicality defense plays with. Miami D was knocking heads the other night. FSU matched it in years past, but didn’t see it the other night.

Any defense is only as good as the players playing it. FSU would likely struggle no matter the style because they don’t have many good players

Yea I would say Norvell is in year 6 and plummeting in regards to ACC. Mario is in year 4 and ascending.

And I think the sticking point is that even if next year, we miss at QB. Which I doubt at this rate, but things happen and so do injuries. The floor of the team is so much better than the rest of the confrence, we can still scrape together an 8 win season. Not go 2-10

Last thing I want as a player is my coach coming up with excuses and bragging about a team he beat 5 games ago. That’s like me bragging about my obstacle course time in 1990.
I hate excuses and players do too.
You know who knows how bad they got beat? The players who played and got toasted extra crispy.

Norvell thinks he’s covering up for his players but all his doing is making them sound like complaining lil beeatches.

It’s embarrassing. And it’s the narrative they gave their players to run with. I expect another mass exodus after the season.

I often post these after an FSU loss, they're gold. I've referenced it in a few threads.

I know Jeff personally, he is the literal "professional" voice of FSU athletics. He's been on the radio in Tallahassee for 20 years, and he's got a very big following in that fanbase. And while he's a homer, as most are in this spot, he keeps it real. Listen to all of this, most of it is pure gold.

Like almost everyone else, he makes it a point, over and over, to say fsu had zero chance to win this game and Miami is significantly better. Amongst 500 other wonderful things.
