This is me hoping we go after someone, NOT reporting we currently are.

Probably not plausible, but I wanted us to go after Troy Walters for WR coach when Dugans was deciding whether or not to stay last time.
He was a Broyles award finalist in 2017 at UCF and followed Frost to Nebraska as WR/Co-OC.

I think, seeing as Enos probably won't be here 50yrs, Miami might be able to get a position coach to take a Position/Co-OC spot under him thinking that the big OC chair might open up sooner than later (or at least sooner than where they are).

I think Walters would do AMAZING here. He comes form a wide open offense being with Frost at his last two stops. He coached (and recruited just as importantly) in Florida as recently as a year ago. He's coached WRs in the ACC, Pac 12, Big 12 and Big Ten and was even a Biletnikoff Award winner himself as a WR at Stanford.

Just throwing that out there. Would like to see what he could do here at Miami.

Possibly. But I would hope Manny and co would at least make him (and others in the same boat as him) say no first.

Who'd have thought a guy up for Alabama's OC fresh off a National Title berth would take that OC job at 7-6 Miami?

Sometimes you just gotta shoot your shot and see what happens.
 
He might just leave Miami is a nicer place to live but I'm thinking that Manny/Enos want coaches with South Florida ties so that they can dominate So/FLA recruiting.

If interested in coaches with South Florida ties, on 247 his recruiting page has kids from South Florida that he got to sign with Nebraska so he's got at least some footprint there. But who knows.

Wasn't knocking him, just seems like they're hiring guys who Enos has worked with before. That can be a positive, but it won't lead to the **** hires CIS would like.
 
why do people say "Coach X would kill it here, or be amazing here, or do great here " ?

what is that based on and what the **** does that even mean ?

can you imagine the waitresses sitting around after work at Applebee's talking about a cook at Outback ........

"He would kill it here, or he would be amazing here, or he would do great here" LOL

a really good football coach who is really skilled would be good no matter where he is .

Let us know when they get someone that can recruit.....D side is good at getting sloppy seconds on the big ones. Hickson seems to know the area but other than that we dont have recruiters

FUGDAT. Anything below 50 is meant for penguins and not humans. Why people put up with that when the Equator is callin our names I'll never understand. Head south my friends.
