“This staff is clueless in regards to recruiting, it’s amateur hour”

I was told this last week by my guy.

Which explains all the misses on the plan b’s, they have no clue how to play this. They stay in contact with guys , then just stop. But reappear again when things are beginning to look grim with other recruits.

There’s obvious excuses out there on losing big fish but this is the stuff that lets you know we have a problem. It’s not just on the field.

Seems to be the general feeling with many of us and we're not even on the inside to see everything.

"Your guy" didnt have to tell you this. Ive been making fun of it for awhile after i heard a recruit say that one of our coaches randomly text him.."You still open?" like a hey big head text at 3am. They are OBVIOUSLY guys that cant recruit and coach at the same time so when the season comes around they go awol.

They need to really get with the time sand have a real recruiting department like the Bama, UGA, Oregons of the world that can help with that kinda thing...Guys like me would work for free.lol

Just curious how did CMR get recruits to Georgia? I feel like he always had success on the field for the most part and top 10 classes. Is he just too out of touch with kids these days? Or the staff at UM is inadequate?

“ My guy “ sounded better than “ my lover” or “Kenneth”.

Seemed more legit.

Why would you expect otherwise, though?

Who on this staff has any legit experience coaching/recruiting college football?

Rumph? Nope.
Patke? Nope.
Simpson? Nope.
Jon Richt? Nope.
Brown? Nope.
Banda? Limited.
Hartley? Ehh.
Dugans? Limited.

Not saying that some of these guys can't coach/recruit, but the amount of experience on this staff AS A WHOLE is embarrassing.

I love you too sweetie. Now run along.

Dont get all sensitive man. You have brought nothing of substance to the board. Your troll job or fake insider Schtick is right up here with DSJ so congrats. You flip flopped constantly and your tidbits mirrored everything that was cobbled together from other places like the Ivins and Stefan’s of the world. I don’t blame you for anything cause if people want to follow you like the pied piper that’s on them.

Recruiting vets knew exactly how this was going to turn out. How? Cause it ALWAYS turns out like this. Regardless of the hype and good news you tried to put out there. We NEVER get the out of state #1 WRs of the world are you kidding me? #1 out of state transfer QBs? Yeah ok. Kids from Lakeland that the Gators want? Laughable. #1 DBs from South Florida that an SEC school wants? When is the last time we pulled that rabbit out of the hat?

I could go on and on but again people that have been following this stuff long enough knew this was going to go down exactly how it did. You ain’t to blame cause you aren’t recruiting these kids nor are you a football staff member but your out of the blue tidbits which were generalities at best I didn’t buy at any point. Noting personal just stating my opinion. No name calling or insults it is what it is.

GA as a state is easier to recruit...they have NO instate threat and community that pushes towards uga the state school. They also have boosters that are in the bag game. That being said...Richt STILL couldnt recruit a qb worth a sh*t there and didnt completely lock down the state to the level he should have./I stated that since we hired him.
