Did anyone watch Terrance Horne from Miami area , Ignored by Miami scored on back to back kickoff 98 and 97 yard returns and key TD to best Tech , awesome game.

That’s how you compete , anyway a great game to have watched

So much talent in Florida. You can never completely predict the future, how kids will turn out (and I have the best prophecy man in the business--even if he's always slow).

Can't take them all. I'm sure we'll be passing on some future stars, especially among skill players almost every year.
 
I watched it. One down the right sideline, the next down the left sideline.

Georgia Tech was so shook up they intentionally kicked very short the next time, even though Horne wasn't on the field.

That transfer quarterback from Alabama bailed out the game for South Florida...three straight touchdowns in the fourth quarter. But Georgia Tech sort of gave it away via fumbling down on the 15 yard line with a 3 point lead and during a running play that would have managed a first down with about 7 minutes remaining. Georgia Tech has two good quarterbacks but a weaker defense than normal.
 
That was a **** good football game, and how often do you get to see back-to-back KO returns? Those Special Teams plays figured as mightily in the Bulls' win, as our Special Teams (punting game) did in the LSU loss.

Ignored by pretty much everyone but how many stars how many stars??? You know people would have *****ed and complained had we taken him.

5'9 165 2 star....also is GT special teams that bad or can this kid continue to return kicks like Hester did. We'll see all in all impressive to see

Terrence Horne Recruit Interests

If we offered him, Richt would have been ripped for offering a guy with no one outside of Oregon State offering him. USF got a diamond in the rough. Congrats to them.
 
It was a great game to watch , you would never of thought it would generate so many down votes from our warm Cane family . Terrance Hornes grandfather works with me and was kind of surprised how a local kid scoring (3) TD's and was on ESPN top plays and won a helmet sticker also would warrant such down votes .
It was weird to explain some people here just don't understand and very closed minded to want to share how hard it is to run back to back kickoff returns back for TD's a 98 and 97 yarder plus a game winner TD catch.

Just a weird moment to share how it is here at times.

I think the point you're missing is he's not a Cane so we don't give a flying ****!

My guess is maybe because you included this "Ignored by Miami?" What are you implying with that phrase? It's just not going to get many great reactions. Seems to be enough negativity around here and then you include that in a post about a non-Miami player. And you didn't think that wouldn't go over well?

Are you sure he was ignored? You have that as a fact? You know he had the grades, etc?

Yeah, running two back in a game, back-to-back was impressive, I watched parts of the game while bouncing from game to game. It was a decent game if you don't have a rooting interest.

I respect your reply , it's nice to see a reply instead of a quick down vote , Terrance participated in many camps at the U with his teammates plus other camps through out the south.
With his speed he was pretty much unrecoverable especially on crossing , post and flag routes his forty time is around 4.25-4.3 of course he has Olympic 100 meter speed oh I might add great hands the closest Cane he's similar to is Santana Moss but a hair faster if that's possible his football speed as you all saw is impressive even getting an angle on him isn't enough.
I spoke with him and her mentioned he could have had (3) but his impatience excitement on the third kickoff got the best of him he was a bump block away from breaking it a third time.
I also asked him if he was at top end max Q speed on last run and he had one more gear left if needed but his field presence told him he was good.
He knows now he has a target on him for now on especially this week playing the Ilini at soldier stadium , keep an eye on Terrance you haven't seen the last of his ESPN highlights for sure.
Terrrance is a stay at home video game type kid , super smart he wants to be a architect he's graduate in 21/2 year or so.

Anyway he's a good kid his head is on straight , his grandpa is SUPER HAPPY and smiling all the time proud. I know this is a Cane sight but why not SHARE and talk about a good home town kid succeeding ?
