A name at LB to keep an eye on…

One thing that stood out to me in his tape was good eye discipline. He wasn't getting fooled on options and played several of them very well. Speed and agility to keep up with receivers (top 40 '27 recruit Julius Jones I believe was the one shown in the highlight) in man coverage is very impressive as well. The star whores won't be happy but seems like a nice eval.

Football IQ and eye discipline are paramount for what's needed in that LB room

We have an edgeaater poster that likely will give us the real run down here.

This poster showed no bias and told us from the jump on Troutman who washed out.

Im drawing a blank but im sure he will be in here.

If he aint a safety not sure on this from my point of view and that is strictly based on us suplosedly suppose to be getting bigger at lb. His athleticism checks out but he may be a topped out guy or a guy that with a Wes Bissainthe ceiling weight wise. Him and JorDan campbell would be two lbs in the class coming in under 210 more than likely.

But its early spring and kid may have a lanky frame to add more weight. But this is also the reaso. I wasnt high on maycock at central to be in this class and they apoear similar

Regarding his tape, I like his ability to avoid & shed blockers. Also when he's engaged with a blocker he doesn't lose sight of the ball carrier.
 
Have t watched his film yet but when I see replies like, he has good eyes or he sheds blockers that’s never a good sign imo.
It’s like people are already fishing to convince themselves. I like replies like must get or do whatever it takes to get him in the class.
 
Just a heads up, ya’ll may not know this but just because a kid is 197 as a JR in HS…doesn’t mean he will be 197 in September of his FR year in college.

**** I’m glad the 6’1 is verified and he isn’t really 5’10 3/4. He could have arms that hang down to his knees and have the frame to be 230 by the end of his FR season.

Impossible. As we have all learned from the Dereon Coleman recruitment, CIS posters know with certainty that recruits stop growing in height or weight once they are offered a scholarship.

Every bit of this is true, but our track record is startling.

I haven’t watched the film either, but I’d like to read your opinion after you do.

Appreciate this point of view but it's a highlight tape, even if it's "wow", you're only getting part of the picture. So making declarations after watching a hudl is short sighted. I can only post what I see, with the understanding that it's not the whole story.

We really need to put a certain BBW-loving poster on salary, and then ask him to extrapolate the recruits' future growth expectations based on maternal thigh circumference....
