A mature focused Jarren Williams is our only hope

Bro after the portal acquisition of Tate, I came in thinking we got our Trace Mcsorley. I was hyped as ****, rolled out to Traz Powell with all the Hurricane stickers on my Jeep.

After watching Tate throw I left that scrimmage a shell of a man with no hope, confused about life and what I am here for.

We got a small chance if Tate is running a pure Ohio State style shotgun offense. I believe Enos will play the best QB, I'm skeptical taht he will cater the offense that much to Tate if he wins.

You’re judging the entirety of the mans career off a spring practice. He was throwing to guys he just met and didn’t know they’re timing at all. He was also being asked to do things that were new so he was in his head the whole time.

That’s not a scenario where you can judge a QB

I dont care who starts as long as they can beat florida. But after watching malik throw balls in the dirt for two years i would be lying if i didnt want to too see accuracy as a part of our next qb’s package. I dont think i can take inaccurate throws for another season. U can know all of the right reads and coverages but if u cant get the ball there it doesnt matter.
We all know who u are putting your money on. Just say Jarren.

Which QB can't get the ball there? I'm curious.

This troll thread is just another example of why our fan base sucks. Stupid, unloyal and unoriginal.

Whoever ends up transferring will never be heard from again. Same applies to Williams. If he were that good, he would see the field more.

Im not putting my money on anybody. I would to see Kosi succeed considering he didnt get properly coached last year and tate succeed because he’s a cane. NONE of us really know what these qbs can do under fire. Those 7 on 7 and 11 on 11s in shorts dont mean a **** thing when da bullets fly. Only even a handful of ppl on this site have seen enough of practice to even have an educated opinion. Even among those ppl there are conflicting reports on even who had the better day each day. All im saying i dont wanna see a bunch of passes hitting our recievers’ feet

Tate is more talented than mcsorley. And you are saying based on what you saw in scrimmages like the qbs haven’t put any work in over the summer to correct things

No he’s not! Tate is not any any way for talented than McSorly and McSorley wasn’t that good to me

I want Jarren to win it - Im on record - and I can’t be moved from that position. Just hope he’s given a fair shot to win it.

Jarren has a FAR higher ceiling than Tate or Perry, and he can be special at Miami. We will be limited by the other two guys but we can play for something big with Jarren under center.

He can also play on Sundays with the coaching he’ll receive from the staff

I want the one that would please Jimmy Johnson..that would be the one that won't lose games for us, JJ said we don't lose games unless we beat ourselves and that starts with bad turnovers. That is why my favorite QB was Steve Walsh, our Bob Greise clone.

There’s a reason tate was rated and he was very highly touted coming out of highschool, we are talking about a guy who routinely beat many of the top teams in the country amassing a 45-0 record 109 passing tds 9 into in had career

I do Agree Jarren does have the best nfl ceiling

You make a good point and dont wanna keep bashing the guy

But it had nothing to do with timing, or guys he just met. I Wasn't looking for perfect timimg, completions or yards or for him to look like Tua or anything like that. The ball just looked bad coming out of his hands. You had to be there. Jarren looked tentative and Nkosi was inaccurate. But the ball didnt look bad coming out of their hands. tate threw several wobblers, and ground balls. For a guy on his 3rd year out of high school it was disappointing. he is quick, heres to hoping he was working on a change of mechanics from Enos is all i got

Bishop Gorman routinely has a team filled with D1 prospects. They recruit from all over America so they should hardly ever lose a game just based on overwhelming talent.

Im not saying Tate is terrible but he’s limited, imo. More importantly it limits what we can do. He’s 5’10 and not an elite thrower of the football. I don’t like that combination.

I don’t mind 5’10 if you have Kyler Murray arm talent...or a Brees or Russell Wilson type arm, but you can’t be 5’10 and mediocre throwing the football. Not with what we got in O.

That offense has weapons. Elite, experienced, game changing WEAPONS all over the O and we need a guy with true arm talent that can get these guys the ball anywhere on the field. Look at what we got on O, man!!

Mallory, Jordan, Jeff Thomas, Pope, KJ Osborn, Hightower, Dee Wiggins...Dallas and Harris with great hands out of the backfield...the list goes on. We need an elite thrower of the football to get these guys the ball and to put constant pressure on defenses. Thats Jarren

He's looked better in real games so he'll be fine. Obviously whatever Enos asked him to do that day footwork wise completely threw him off. He was tripping over his own feet and he's normally a guy with quick feet

So if I read this thread right, we have 3 mediocre quarterbacks yet have everything to beat Clemson in the ACCCG.

How bout maybe we don't trip over our own ****s and get past the gator first?

this. our QB situation is as good as UF right now. lets hold off thinking were gonna coast through our schedule considering we never do anymore

Im still trying to understand what your point is i answered a poll that was on here as to who i would bet on. Are u trying to troll me into picking a QB? U do realize im not on staff right??

i think we all think jarren is the most polished of the three but something is holding him back. im encouraged by the recent practice report and like that martell improved from spring. at the end of the day, its been 2 days

I went to the 2nd spring game and I have to agree with you on certain things. Tate doesn't throw the best ball and Jarren does look tentative. With that being said. Tate moved the offense against the first team D with his arm and feet. Jarren has NFL talent but it seem like he wasn't processing the plays fast enough with the type of Oline we got. If the Oline wasn't so suspect, Jarren would be the starter.
