There is a 0.0000000% chance that the beginning of the game won't be televised. It'll be on ESPNU or ESPNNews, and certainly on the app. It also was probably never kicking before 9:15 anyway. We shouldn't miss much of it on ESPN, but regardless we'll be able to watch it somewhere before the previous game ends and they move our game over to the big network. You shouldn't miss a single play.

Gameday definitely will be at College station. If some upsets happen in the first 2 weeks we could slide into the top 15. Mario's first big test. Can Jimbo turn the corner with all that money TAMU has given him? Is TVD a legit Heisman contender? Is TAMU's 30M dollar recruiting class going to stack up to the hype?

If anyone remembers SEVERAL of our 3:30 games were unable to be watched in the beginning due to the game overlap (Miami/Bama come to mind) so for those saying that “Miami can’t/Won’t be passed up” have to remember that last year we had this happen several times.

Also my biggest complaint isn’t exactly that we got scheduled @9 it’s that ESPN had 3,4 & 5:00 time slots open and yet chose 6:00 for LSU/Miss St and we can’t gurantee they will put us over that game (not to mention the other major ESPN networks already have games scheduled so if we are on another network it’ll just be ESPN news most likely).

I get OPs overall point. However you view it, a 9pm kickoff is crazy. Ive rarely seen a EST or CST game being kicked off that late..AND thats the same night as Canelo vs GGG 3 too. Smh.

Give the Pac 12 after dark the 9pm start. Our game should have been an 8pm start. It is what it is. A Win will cure everything!!

ESPN dropped the ball on this one. Why would they schedule Miami & A&M @9 when Miss ST & LSU are at 6 for the same network ? There is NO way LSU & Miss State end in under 3 hours and there were NO games scheduled on ESPN for the 3:00 slot. They could have easily scheduled that game for for 3,4 or even 5:00 yet they chose 6:00 for whatever reason.

It is very likely the first HOUR of our game won’t be televised due to the LSU/Miss state game (and very unlikely they move that game to a lesser network). Very **** poor scheduling by ESPN

They do that **** all the time and royally ****es off any fan that’s gotta wait for their game to start.

Why? It's an 8 PM central kick which is where the game is being played. If it was at Hard Rock, it would likely be the same time, but Eastern.

Look, I'm not arguing with you, I'm just stating something very simply. A lot of us will be at the game and will be TiVoing this game. This nonsense with not airing the beginnings of games has gotten out of hand with The Worldwide Leader, they just think that everyone is aware of, and/or prepared for, some bullsh!ite ESPN News alternative coverage.

Will be there as well ... but the 8:00 PM kickoff sucks. Wish it were 3:30. Staying at a B&B at a ranch on the Brazos River about 25 miles south of College Station. My wife said "don't wake me up" when you get in at 2:00 am.
