A&M [almost] hires Stoops

Looked at the buy out numbers and was like “Nah”

Why would he leave Kansas for Syracuse? He’s a Midwest guy as well.

Looks like the AD tried to hire Mark Stoops and the Boosters stepped up and stopped it. It's what should of happened with us when we hired Manny, everyone and their brother knew Manny wasn't ready.

Possibly but which would make sense? Purdue and Indiana are probably the same level as Kansas. Michigan State made a good hire in Jonathan Smith. So unless he wants to see if Minnesota or Iowa opens…

But he kinda build Kansas into a better job than Syracuse...I'm I wrong on that. I would think he next move would be a step up in class of program given the miracles he done at Kansas. JMO

I think he is one of those rare coaches who would do well at any school in any part of the country.
He's that good.

/but I would want him with those stud OC and DCs.

Is Kansas a better overall job than Cuse though? The recruiting area is better, they have a good roster, a great atmosphere, and you can get guys to follow you because there are way worse places to live.

It‘ll be hard to say no.
