All I hear is *****ing and moaning. Waaaah cmr hired Mike rumph. Waaaah the guys can't recrit. Waaaah our defense is worse than with doritos. Waaaah he fired our s&c coach (kelly winslow).

Why don't you all man up and stop acting like a bunch of sissies? Cmr knows what the f he is doing. We are going to kick *** and take names. If you don't believe it you can turn tail to tally and become a fsu fan.

And to fullyERicht. Keep talking. Cmr will castrate you with a rusty spoon.

To run a hs to 2 championships and every year to the playoffs takes good coaching. Couple that with he was a legit 1st round NFL CB , I think can coach, and coach cbs. Also he's going from coaching 50 guys to 7.
 
No matter what Richt does, there's always somebody who wants to be first to say it was a bad move.
 
I am with you on this one! We have upgraded all of our position coaches with Mark Richt, and everyone just bashes the new coach and the last two hires. Do you not think he knows what he is doing? I hate it when our fan base wants a change, we get it. And now already, they are questioning the new coaches moves, being less than a month on the job. Everyone needs to wake up and thank the administration for finally getting this situation on a great path.

Yup apparently there's a bunch of guys who've been coaching since 1985 and know everything

I just thought people would have learned from last go 'round not to blindly hype up every move by the head coach. Having an open discussion, debates, different opinions, and maybe even questioning moves/hires doesn't make you a mope who should root for someone else.


I propose that the true sissies, and the ones who most need to "man up," are those who whine and have a breakdown when someone dares step out of the **** YEAH BRO 14-0 EVERY SEASON EVERYTHING IS AWESOME CORNY COACH NICKNAME YEAH!!!!! party line.
 
Richt should have a little more credibility than AG, right?

Moreover, AG came in loud ("Are you kidding me?") and really acted as if he was full of swag and bravado. As we all found out, it was all bravado and no real courage. I know I fell for it at first.

Big difference here is that Richt hasn't said ANYTHING but he sure has been busy. I like that more than anything. Of course, time will tell....
 
Nothing wrong with questioning the coaching decisions.
If there were, Canesinsight would not exist.
If the last three coaching failures have taught us anything, it's that the skeptics can be dead on correct.
Having said that, if Richt can follow through on Searles, land the right S&C guy and get a good WR coach, we'll be better than ok.

i like the hires. i think diaz with south florida athletes will be a very dangerous dc. can't wait to see who wr coach will be and 2 graduate assistants , wonder if jon richt will be full tiem coach or listed as graduate assistant. if ga then that would give us another coachign spot to use.

That's the point man. Nobody, NOBODY is saying anything too crazy like we'll be undefeated. But every time anybody says a hire or recruit is pretty good they get slammed. Doesn't matter what it is. If Richt signed the hulk at DT, people would ***** that his film wasn't that good or his 40 time wasn't fast enough. If Jesus was our DC, somebody would find a way to complain. "Didn't he get killed that one time?"

I'm not hearing skeptics, I'm hearing a bunch of ITS TERRIBLE EVERYTHING SUCKS OMG!!!,1. Disagreement is fine, probably healthy. But it's starting to look like Richt can't do anything without getting bashed, and the season is a looong way off.

How about a little cautious optimism? I'm not crowning anyone or saying I don't wish the coaches had more impressive backgrounds. What I'm saying is, there's reason for a little optimism.
