I gotta say, I like that Lane's official visit to Miami is shaping up to be in late January. That's the perfect time for Miami to make its move. He'll have taken his visits, seen all of the nice, shiny bull**** that UF et al had to offer, and we'll hopefully have just finished an impressive season and can pitch family (literally Barrow, man), CanesFam, staying home, AND (finally) being in the regular national conversation.

And hopefully show him trophy number 6.

I am optimistic but this would be to high expectation for this year. We aint "there" yet. the sell would be that given our double digit win season, we will be contenders come 2014. Al's sales pitch....."Ermon, you could be the key to us getting our 6th title this year, you saw how we kicked a.s.s last year? you saw how we beat FSU, UF, VTech, UNC etc? Imagine what we could do with your talents the next couple of years? We could work together on getting #6-9 these couple of years before you go on to an all pro career"
