I've never seen 10 turn overs by a team in the modern Era. It is atrocious.

I blame the line for nearly all of them. We can't run the ball and we let defenders get free shots on our QB. The line is soft. It starts with them.

I wish there was a “command z” or and undo key for this program. But it is what it is, and we shall live with it. None of our opinions matter in the end. All we are doing is executing our right to an opinion. But hey, things can change, right? Hopefully, Mario makes the changes that need to be made, to right this ship. So far, he has talked the talk of a winning strategy. It hasn’t translated into on field play, sadly it has translated into the opposite. But time will tell if he can walk the talk. I hope he does. I want him to.

That was one of the worst two-minute drives Ive ever seen. There was no tempo or urgency, on top of really conservative play calling.

Later on, we had a 3rd and 3, and we were down in the second half, you kinda knew this was a 4-down situation. Well, one of the plays was a rollout to the left with a right-handed QB. The play never seemed to have a chance. Why in the world are we running that, at all. I just don't get it. That drive ended with an incomplete pass, and the rest of the game devolved into a turnover-fest

Is this players or coaches, or a bit of both?

I can't really tell you, but it aint' good.

Great post. Of course the one time we should’ve run it was on that 3rd and 3 in 4 down territory and Gattis went with some weird rollout to the short side playcall

Also, Jacolby tried to scoop up the ball after a Garcia fumble. He missed and Duke recovered.

Don’t they have fumble drills?

Duke has beaten Miami 3 times in the last 5 years. Total wins against Miami now stands at 5. 👀

Riley will recruit elite WRs. He ran off better receivers than Smiff when he brought over Mario Williams and Addison.

Key Smiff is more San Diego State caliber than USC.

Gattis blows, we know this. But having the ball at midfield, 2:20 on the clock, and a timeout is A LOT of time. You can run the ball in that situation, including in on back to back plays. I don’t think it was 3 running plays in a row. Anyway, Gattis does suck.
