A few game times set

Game times being announced...we’re getting closer.

I was excited to see MSU as a nooner. Let them burn.
I just took a look at their 247 board. It's great. They are less than happy about that noon start time. Seems they assumed it would be the nighttime game. They are consoling themselves by hoping the stadium is half empty since "fans only pack Hard Rock for night games". Really hope the ticket holders show up for this game...

I can't quantify the advantage but it is real for a noon game if it is a cloudless day and you have the sun beaming on your sideline while the home team is in the shade.

Yeah things get rowdy when people start drinking before noon. I will add it seems like the heat just gets us to really get loud or at least that’s how it feels to me.

The other side of that coin is that the freaks come out at night.

I’ve been to some crazy night games at the Orange bowl, and at the hard rock. Notre Dame and Virginia Tech in 2017 were two recent examples

This was supposed be their big OOC game and they get stuck a nooner on ESPN (or ABC). Crowd noise is going to be the least of their concerns though if we can get ourselves a nice humid day.

I was at the 17 ND game and it was about as loud as I can remember Hard Rock ever being, save for maybe the phins playoff game when Lamar Smith ran wild over Indy.

I do think no matter what if it’s a big time game and the canes are good we show up as much as any fan base no matter the time.

I agree. Give this fanbase some hope, and they start to show.

There are always the diehards like me that go to every game, I guess there’s about 30 to 35,000 of us, so we need the other 30,000 to show up, just show some decent success and they start to come.

We win or push Bama for 4 quarters and the place should be pretty full and provide a nice homefield advantage.

Take one on the chin game one and it'll probably be meh

I love noon games but through the years I've realized the heat does not negatively affect northern teams. They seem to do just fine. It is the deeper team that thrives regardless of where they are from. Sadly over the past 15 years we haven't had the same advantage when we used to roll 3 deep out there.
Yea no kidding. If we've sucked for 15 years with noon kickoff advantages than how truly god awful were we without that advantage. All these dudes are in ridiculous shape and train year round

It should be crowded. This is a unique opponent. If it was Virginia Duke or gt then I’d say maybe not. I’ll be at this game and I’m looking forward to it

The advantage of Noon games (heat) isn’t a big factor as fans like to think it is. Practically a myth, in this day of age. It probably affects attendance more so than the actual game.
