Although I won't be able to attend the game Thursday, I thought this article gives great insight into the tremendous amount of work that's gone into allowing us to see our Canes take the field come Thursday.

Some interesting information today on Packer & Durham show. Although the Big 12 has established a roster minimum of 53 players to play, it seems that the ACC is reluctant to do something like this. There is still an ongoing conversation but it was said that the ACC leans more to NOT having this kind of parameter to play. The ACC wants to be sure they have rosters and depth charts that allow them to put their team in the best position to win. This will work if all schools are transparent about the number of athletes they have out. They lean towards letting each school determine if they have the ability to play each game.

And really interesting : the maximum numbers of players who can dress for each ACC game is 75. This is an ACC conference rule. Applies to both home and away games.

Not an empty condo in Gulf Shores this weekend and not a mask to be seen. Football games should be the same.
I live in South Walton and it’s slammed here too. Once the CDC said 94% of the COVID deaths were not caused by COVID things got wide open! I agree about football but there could be a huge liability for them if people get sick with anything because it’ll be COVID in their lawyers eyes. I was proud of Publix for taking down the directional arrows and the sign for the masks. They still have the 1984 catch phrases on repeat though

It was odd Friday night after our local high school game when both teams just headed for the locker room without the traditional line-up hand shake. Bottom line is playing - I can take all the rest instride. Man I was like a kid on Christmas Friday night - I seriously thought this wasn't going to happen.

Its sucks for a lot of HS and college athletes that politics stuck its ugy head into football.
