A completely empty stadium sends the loudest message

Yes, it sends the message that CFB fans across the nation have been saying for decades....Hurricanes fans suck.

******s like yourself supporting a dunce of a coach that is ruining our program is proof enough.

Where have I supported the coach? I've stated if he doesn't have a big turnaround this year he should be fired. Been saying so since last season. Pointing out the lies and BS that you guys spew in your over-the-top attacks is not equivalent to support.

Look at Don Bailey jr trying to act now like he's not Don Bailey Jr.

You're the secretary of the idiot club. Don't try to act otherwise...own it at this point.

I know you're not very bright, and reading isn't your strong point. But feel free to go back and read my posts from the past year.

There's a huge amount of irony in you of all people calling someone else "not very bright"

This thread is rock bottom for those of you who call yourselves Canes fans. Just horrible. I, and every other Canes fan, have been there in good times and in bad. We were there during the probations years, when people were flying banners over the Orange Bowl. We sat through Radio's reign. We were there when we were successful. It makes the ride so much better. It makes success that much sweeter when you go through the tough times. It's even better when you go through the tough times with loved ones. Its even better when you get to share the successful moments with loved ones. I'm gonna keep going to the games with my Pops. **** you for trying to discount something that is special to me.

The loudest message will be from our record. If this season goes the way we think it will, then all will be taken care of. The administration already got the ****ing point. Attendance already sucks. They already saw the banner. They see us on twitter. There's no sense in creating more unnecessary harm. Our money and time will benefit the next coach and the program as a whole. If we win 14 games, then great--I'll see you ****ers on the bandwagon. I'll save some space.

!!!! My thoughts exactly.

Are you serious thinking that a complete lack of attendance doesn't send a message? That's being delusional and stupid.

I get it... most of the slurpers here want to show off their uninterrupted passion for the team, but don't be foolish.

Attendance of 10-15K per game is an economic and marketing detriment to the program... And you think the admin won't care?? I'm not saying they are going to flip their ****, but they will notice.

The business sense of the people in this thread is suspect... either everyone just came from a communist country and doesn't understand capitalism and for-profit business or you all work at USPS.

Lmao at this thread. A bunch of Cutler Ridge Laz superfans in here giving each other a reach around. This pic sums it up this thread pretty good.

Whats the logic of posting on a site dedicated to following the Miami programs that:
- You should NOT attend games
- The stadium sucks
- The head coach is a loser
- The new uniforms suck because they are different from the ones before and don't have a swoosh on them
- The outgoing President of the school has ruined the program and all sorts of homophobic, racist rants apply
- The school either can't recruit local talent and/or doesn't deserve local SF talent
- blah, blah, blah....

While I understand many might have this opinion i would think, that if you do, you would be an FSU or UF fan/alum. I get the frustration and think AG's actions have brought much on himself. But, i don't get repeating it ad nauseam over and over and over again on a site dedicated to following the program. The argument that you make enough noise they will fire AG isn't working.

What will work is if AG wins he will stay on and you guys will be miserable. If he loses, AG will indeed get replaced but....be careful what you wish for. Sometimes the devil you know...

Me, i am flying out from California and will be decked out in Canes gear for the Nebraska game. I hope TH3 has a breakout year and the Canes win the Coastal, if not more. That will lead to a strong recruiting class and brighter futures. If not, and the tank through what ESPN called a tough schedule, i will hope AG moves on which will lead to, i hope optimism again in Coral Gables.

I am not drinking any Kool Aid but....I am all in.

They could all live up to their word, and he (Julio Frenk) will still throw them out of his office and not act on it.

The bottom line is, no college president is going to make decisions based on a movement of unhappy fans. Especially, emotional, out of control UM fans, who are unhappy a 9-3 record isn't good enough for them.

Its just not going to happen.

Want to withhold your HC donations? That's your choice.

Choose not to buy tickets for a UM game again? Again, your choice.

Think doing so is going to strong arm Julio Frenk? That's not only not going to happen, its going to be handled like it was a joke. That's how pathetic it is.

Folks who engage in this need to realize one thing. You are spectators, not participants. Sports is an enterprise where, if you don't like the product, don't go. If you like the product, support it.

However, when you start believing you will determine what that product is, all I can say is, you better be a college president or a group of Board of Trustee members, who have enough votes to make a change. Anything short of that will not bring about any change.

I don't care how much money these folks put up, and it won't be nearly as much as they will brag about, Julio Frenk is not getting blackmailed by any UM fans.

It will go down in UM history in the same laughable fashion as the infamous, "Hang Coker in effegy" party that was supposed to take place at Mark Light after the Washington game in 2000.

Maybe I can help.

In psychology, that would be called 'cognitive reinforcement.'

In finance, that would be called 'repetitive product rejection.'

In Accounting, that would be termed 'reiteration of misapplication of assets.'

In Legalese, Golden's performance would be termed 'recurring failure to perform.'

In Football, Golden's performance to date would be termed, "fraudulent misrepresentation."

You see, repeated errors in many walks of life are only corrected by repeated rejections.

Repeated is the operative word here. On both sides.

wouldn't spend money on the team personally but for those that live in SFla that can actually attend should if they want to. the attendance won't matter to Miami administration. at this point it's all about performance that will decide Al's fate. Whether he wins/loses in front of a full house or empty box doesn't matter. ACC money covers their needs.

Why did Big East throw Temple out?

And the ACC will throw Miami out for the same reason. One Wake Forest is enough...and at least that school has some academic prestige. We bring absolutely NOTHING to the ACC either academic or sports related. Plus, some of the NC schools never wanted us in the first place. FSU and us probably paved the way for Louisville to get in because they realized they needed some more "Dumb Kid Schools" to elevate the league in sports because Miami never filled their end of the bargain. The school's just gonna grab those ACC bucks for as long as they can, knowing they can't fool the conference forever.

Gotta give Shalala credit. She squeezed as much out of this bunch of Tobacco Road clowns as she could. (While spending ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on sports programs while she did.)

You have to be a certifiable idiot to believe the ACC would "throw Miami out." While stadium attendance sucks, it always has. But nationwide, Miami is still a large draw on t.v.

No, you've proven that your IQ is about the same as your waist size.

dk is about as dull as they come. Probably has an IQ of around 70.

Says the guy who posts as if he didn't get through middle school. Funny thing is, I'd hold up my education and IQ against any of you morons any day of the week.
