What really did it for me and the NCAA was that whole cesspool of garbage with Miami when Golden first arrived. They actually tried to threaten former players to testify against the university. Yet they have turned a blind eye for years on the SEC’s blanting cheating and basically saying “That’s not nice” to Penn State after years of abusing children. I hope Mr. Owens(great player by the way) and his colleagues win!

Anyways, you can thank the FBI for ******** UM hoops on that one.
 
Im no lawyer but in a way this affected you guys as well. Could there be a case for a class action law suit. A lot of you guys are season ticket holders, donate to the school etc... These actions by the NCAA definitely affected you guys in many ways. This is probably a reach but just thought id throw some **** on the wall. lol .

100 percent. That whole Shapiro investigation was such a joke. It set us back 5 years and to add to it we had one of the worst coaches ever at the helm. I had such anger towards NCAA and some of the Media clowns over that but then you see how they handle the stuff that went in the SEC and they just say "Hey no big deal it happens everywhere". That got me heated lol. You had a whole Alabama secondary having new cars and showing it off on social media, nothing came out of that.

ahh the basketball one. I forgot about that one. That one really set the basketball program for a couple of years until last season. You're correct it was Nike

We ended up with a slap on the wrist from the NCAA on Shapiro, but only because of their criminal activity. Blow it up.

The biggest scam in recent sports history. He’s buddies with Saban and decides who gets punished for what. The obvious cheating that Saban does and isn’t talked about is awful. It shows what a joke the NCAA and the media are. Everyone knows and nobody talks about it. Then ol bagman Kirby gets an automatic pass too. The NCAA becoming irrelevant is good for the sport.

Side note, who was that South Florida receiver (a 5*) a few cycles ago that committed to Bama then immediately posted on social media in a hellcat flashing a bunch of cash?
 
I’m all for the ncaa getting a swift kick in the ****, but what’s the alternative? Players are starting to get paid and have more ability to move, but the money involved in the game is still ridiculous and makes it close to impossible for some teams to compete. We all still think Miami can compete, but it’s close. There will always be schools with more money that simply buy what they want. There’s a sort of privilege here. Yes bama and uga have to recruit hard, but they have a considerable advantage right now and have for many years. Miami has some advantages over many teams, but money can still negate that.

I have no idea how to bring parity to college sports, but the ncaa isn’t the way. Hopefully this works out better for schools and players in the end.
 
NCAA has been a poorly run organization for 10-15 years. College Football does need in any way shape or form federal government
involved. peel off Football & Bball and get a commissioner to run the 2 revenue sports with a BOA.
pull from HC's, AD's & conference commissioners and you can solve all issues.
Federal Govt. in last spending blow out put a clause in package for Horse racing HISA which has only added more
costs to game in general as govt. employees do not know Jack about Horse racing or college athletics.
