So apparently there is this thing called a tifo, which is a big coordinated sign or banner done within a stadium. It usually happens at soccer matches.

So the Orlando City fans in the Supporters section unveiled this tifo on Saturday.

It says "We are not f-ing leaving" and then "Owners 2, Coaches 3, Seasons 5, Players 129, Losses 77", though I am fairly certain that we have had 4 coaches in 5 years.

This is what we need to do.

We can't do that in America.

We would have the owners personal security shoving a taser up the rear.

I'd be ****ed if my seats were behind that thing

It was only up for a short time during the pre-game.

Still, it would get a LOT more notice than an airplane banner, or a truck driving around in traffic. Not criticizing anyone, I'm just thinking about maximum impact.

This idea makes the cardboard sign on the lawn truck look genius.

So that's your second effort to **** on the idea. We get it, you're not in favor.

In-stadium protests are noticed much more, and get a lot more subsequent publicity (see, generally, people trying to hold up signs at Astros games in spring training).

Is it cheaper than a billboard or plane?

This is an article from 2017, when the Atlanta fans were putting together a tifo for their first MLS game. The cost "exceeded"...$1,200.

Now I know why I had never seen such a thing.

That would require people actually being at the game to pull off. See, the beauty of banners and billboards is you get to complain without actually having to show up to the game.

If that's the Supporters section, I'd hate to see the Enemies section ;)
