Absolutely, but how do you combat that? Quick game, screens, moving pockets, running game, etc. The stuff that seems to be what Enos wants to do. Quick game and being multiple in everything you do.
I do not mind beating teams with death by a 1000 cuts per se. Take what the defense gives you and the splash plays will come. I mean, **** I hate Tom Brady but most of his TD drives are 10+ plays that just slowly kill you in side

Did not look happy about some questions, but focused on scrimmages where he expects many players and staff to step up their game..

This is the serious time of sharpening the knife..................no games and fluff...........only direct focus allowed......

Coach Stroud said both Hill and Nnoruka who’ve played a lot of Good/Excellent football at P5 programs have to learn the Miami way and work their way into it, conditioning and learning the system. We talking two NFL caliber guys.

But young and inexperienced Bubba Bolden good enough to just come take something.

Check downs are great...they move the chains! I don't know how many times last year there either were no check downs and every receiver was 20+ yards downfield, or Rosier would look right past Dallas or Homer who was wide open with no one around him, and instead throw a sideline jump ball to our shortest receiver, Harley.

I have no problem with check downs if it is the right decision. I just don't want to see a 2 yard passing game.
 
Why is information on special teams so limited in all these practices? Ave field position on offense and defense was atrocious last year. Improving that alone would win several more games

Because the media gets to see 35 minutes of practice. 30 of those minutes are watching the players do arm circles. The other 5 minutes is Manny teasing the media. They aren't there when we are doing punt coverage and the likes.

the lone practice i went to i did see hedley punt lol. then he got hurt

I dont think anyone can reasonably expect Bolden to contribute right away with the amount of time he has missed.

When the **** has this been a requirement? I am not saying I have unreasonable expectations, but if Bubba isn't starting and playing 95% of snaps against UF and I am going to reasonably burn **** down.
 
What’s strouds background? Connection with manny? Looks like he works at the club!!! Seems cool.

NC State together and coached Mario Williams and at least one other top draft pick, I think. I don't know all the details though.

I was worried when I heard him saying "golly and gee whiz" in one of his Spring post practice pressers but I think he has gotten these boys better.
