9 of 11 ESPN writers have Miami as a playoff team

But Dinich and the other two that write the main articles that are currently on the front page all have ND 9 and Bama 10. Total absurdity.

If that’s the case did Duke winning help our cause? You think the committee opts to put in two G5 teams in the last two slots and snub a bubble P4 team? That would be just as absurd as any other scenario.

Do I take the cash out option?

Bama is a joke.
The FSU loss, one which they were whooped badly, should disqualify them now that they have three losses. Considering Miami whooped FSU, it's an easy choice. These idiots are so caught up in "ranked wins" while not even considering the fact the rankings might just be a little, or a lot, biased. Take Vandy, Missouri, and Tennessee. Who the **** have they beaten? Have they even WATCHED SEC football this year? It was not pretty. Even Georgia looked like dog crap parts of this season, against dog crap opposition. They needed help to beat Florida, for crying out loud.

Also sick of hearing the committee saying they THINK ND would beat Miami. Well, do they honestly think Alabama would beat Miami? I mean we do have a common opponent as a measuring stick. But hey, we have a head to head against ND and they don't even consider that.

If Miami is left out for Alabama, I'm going to have to walk away from the sport. What the **** is the point when biases and opinions mean more than on field results? That's no longer competitive sport.

I’m going in with zero expectations the committee will do the right thing. They set this up last week by having Bama jump ND and I think they’re going to take that route even though it is still completely ridiculous.

That being said, the wave of ESPN and other big media saying “Miami should be in” over both ND and now Bama is startling considering the hate we usually get. And it was an instant wave. Having Saban saying we should be in and now several Bama alumni saying Bama should be out is surprising. I don’t think anyone, committee included, expected them too look so bad and underqualified, and it will cause discussion. That coupled with the idea of keeping a P4 out (******** the ACC for the 2nd time in 3 years) COULD play in our favor. After all, it’s not like the SEC is being left out; put that narrative to bed.

This is what it should be...

6. A&M
7. Miami
8. ND
9. Ole Miss
10. OK/Bama/Vandy/BYU/Texas battling it out for the final spot.

The SEC is completely mid. People were asleep at the wheel trying to pit Miami vs. ND all month. It should have been everyone vs. the SEC. There is no way that average league should get 5 teams in.

Duke winning did nothing for us. That spot is now for a G5 team, not another at large.

What’s the most annoying part of all of this is reading ND fans thinking they’re more deserving and listening to the so called pundits come up with drivel to justify not picking Miami

I’d prefer if they just came out and said We don’t like Miami

Sec vs ACC this year.....6-4

The SEC are not world beaters anymore. The narrative needs to start changing

If the ACC is such a joke and the SEC is the alpha, why did they only win head to head at a 60% clip?

Guys I feel really good

The committee were together all day yesterday and watched the games. They had food, libations, maybe a holiday party and had an honest talk about the teams and used object common sense.

They showed them watching the games. I trust their sincerity and professionalism. These people are experts

I am a huge ND fan and think you are definitely deserving. You guys would smash Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Alabama. You guys should be in for sure. I would put you at 7.
