They did not. They doubled them up on yardage. They turned the ball over five times resulting in three defensive TDs. Fumble, INT, etc. At least look at the stats before you make stupid comments. 33-15 with three defensive TDs scored is not whatever you called it above.

You do realize that the ACC has been this way since we joined yet we can't seem to get it done. VT has a bad offense, they always have. They're the house that the Vick's built and tore down after. You are also missing the point that to all the ACC teams, beating Miami still means something. So every week, no matter how bad the team is, we're going to get their A-game. We sleepwalk into games all the time and that's why we lose. I have seen nothing so far that suggests that has changed. FSU/VT/Clemson we will be 1-2 at best, most likely 0-3. From there, everyone is playing us tough. We'll likely lose to GT and @Pitt during Thanksgiving will likely be a cold snow game with our boys mailing it in. That's at least 5 losses but throw in a WTF loss for good measure.

no.. i'm acting like we give up a lead, the team gets down on itself, and ends up losing.. in this case we pulled through and got the W.. ****.. last year the team quit on the season after the fsu loss.. these guys didn't quit on the game.

This seems difficult for you.

We were up 33-10 in the 4th qtr. The game went into overtime. Nothing about this game eludes fighting back to win. You're creating a narrative where it doesn't exist.

This game was not a dog fight which we fought to win. This game was not a blow out (against UM), which we manage to comeback and win. We collapsed and were fortunate a turnover happened in overtime, because a terribly bad pass was made. The QB's target was WIDE OPEN by the way, and the QB was on a roll out with little to no pressure. There was more luck involved in that play than scheme and playmaking.

This narrative about guys not quitting is the most ridiculous crap. By definition, they somewhat quit since Nebraska was able to come back and push the game into overtime. How dense can some of you be?

it has nothing to do with dog fight or any of that BS.. this is exactly how we lost the fsu game last year.. we were up, then we got down and quit on the game and eventually the season.. whether it was a "dog fight" or whatever is inconsequential.

UNC's defense has come to play? They've faced more trash than we have. When your best opponent so far is Illinois, you've got a weak schedule so far. Just like how the best team we've faced is Nebraska. I'd love to think the team can keep up what they've been doing, but we haven't been tested yet. We will against FSU. That's when we'll know if we have the same Golden and staff or not. The first 3 quarters against Nebraska were nice and seemed like the coaches finally got a clue, but then the last 8 minutes brought it all back just about.

Let's wait til UNC or Miami plays a real team to decide what is real.

FSU, GT,Clemson, VT, take your pick from not if, but when the collapse happens I think we lose to Duke, NC also.. Just from the track record
 
He'll win maybe 1 or 2 more. That's it. The team will implode after a beatdown by FSU. Only a mistake-filled game by an opponent gets us to 5-7. No bowl of any kind this year. Another loss to UVA, which is totally unacceptable.
