ACC to 3 divisions by 2016???

For those foolish enough to believe that UM doesn't earn its share of TV money, you should keep in mind that Miami is the biggest TV draw of any ACC school win or lose people will watch UM on TV either root for or against UM. UM has had some of the highest rated broadcast in history.

Go Canes

That won't last if we keep going .500 every year.

Cut UMs share of tv and bowl money and the program will close. We will be another UAB. Admin want football gone.

How about the ACC tells the schools to get their **** together or get out (especially us). Moving to 3 divisions won't do anything when a majority of the teams in the ACC are a joke. Either force the schools to get serious about football if that's even possible or they should be replaced. At least that's how it should be.
Clearly we've never added anything to ACC football. Would not be surprised if we are kicked out of the league if things don't improve soon. The ACC clearly didn't expect a program that couldn't beat UVA when they invited us to join. Instead they got one of the worst teams in the conference mooching off everyone else's success and dragging the conference down to new depths. Donna essentially sold them a bunch of garbage. They wanted Miami to offset FSU and give them two NCAA caliber teams. Boy, did they get fooled!

I've been saying our best hope is the ACC to threaten just such an action. Another reason to continue raising **** about the situation. Only a threat to that big check will move the BOT.

Maybe they play to put us in the third division all alone, so we don't continue to embarrass them by never winning our division.

we r a basketball school anyways--u aren't going to football games, u might as well head to the buc and enjoy a team that works its *** off and a coach who knows how to coach

Another asset wasted by Donna and her destruction team. Still, you take Rapist off the table and ACC has been crap for years and Miami has not delivered as promised. Years ago, Miami and ND were in class of their own in ratings. We are not the draw we were even 5 years ago. Trend is down compared to EVERYONE else.

So do tell, what did Miami promise the ACC they would deliver?
You do understand that Miami being on TV makes everyone money regardless of whether they win or lose?
You're either the most self-loathing Miami fan ever or full of crap, I'll go with option two.

Yup, and UM can once again be "independent."
