Maybe the play was meant to go that way as that is where the wham blocker is going?

Idk but either way, hard to ask your RB to find one small hole in a split second with over 20 bodies at the line of scrimmage. No space makes having "vision" in a split second decision hard to find a hole that is away from where the play is designed to go.

I hate the crucifying brown for this play that im reading for what is in my opinion a **** *** fckin predictable play call that puts the players in a spot to fail.

Bauman and Lofton suck at them too

Yes! There is a reason the majority of the football world has gotten away from this philosophy. It's asking a ton of your RB for the sake of that philosophy. That's not even my biggest problem, though. What I can't stand is the lack of awareness. It's over halfway thru the season and your extra blockers, ain't blocking so great, so stop motioning them in for matchups they're consistently missing or losing. What you have is 4, and sometimes 5, really good OL, so spread teams out and let them do the work.

So, at a critical moment in the game needing a 1st down, Miami inexplicably (1) runs the most predictable play in the world, and (2) leaves a critical block to a player who never plays.

Everyone's hating on Mario right now, but there's no way Mario is in charge of personnel for that play. Is that Dawson?

What big time college football coach puts an unreliable, unproven, young player in at that critical moment?
Don't you get it? Mario is responsible. This is his organization.

If you watch a replay of just about everyone of our games, you will see this guy whiff or get blown up trying to block, I have no idea why this guy plays.

Its wild the back chose that direction. There was nothing there immediately but the right side, he probably could have scored.
he would of scored because smu's second level allw as following the wam block of sj. a jump cut to the right and just run lol

ask our self when is the last time our offense ever drew the defense off sides on purpose and get back to me?. which is funny because in short yardage plays there are usually 10 in the box of jumpy defensive players and we never attempt to do it
I’m not sure we ever go on 2. Our Oline would false start anyways. But it’s also why ever defender is able to get a running start on our obvious inside runs to blow plays up.

There is quite literally ZERO misdirection in any sense in this offense.

every week ...dcs are teaching their backers just to submarine downhill...just muck it up...because thats how u stop our run game.....

also safeties are doing the same as i counted off head at least 5 times safeties froms mu were flying down hill without a care int he world for a play action pass or beck keeping it on a run.

they know tendencies on our down n distance because or oc does get away from it...we ae one team that consistently is gonna waste atleast one down in a series on a wasted duo run or wr screen thats consistent for 3 years now

Doesn’t help that we’re snapping at 1 or 2 on the clock every **** play. Just another thing that gives the defense an edge.

Poor technique, head on wrong side.....but

Bad read by Brown. The flow was to the right.

Which is why literally after the ******* Notre Dame game I was *****ing about how few play action passes we ran!

If we are going to have a more game manager and slow inside runs game, YOU NEED TO ATTACK THE ******* LBS OFF PLAY ACTION! This **** is so ******* simple man.

Like literally I said after ND what the biggest issue was immediately. And it’s come to fruition. Smfh. Like just unbelievable how you waste a season we legit could have won a national championship if you just weren’t a complete moron….
