8 Mil a Year for 64–62

What exactly has Lane accomplished?
top tier offenses, taking a bottom rung SEC school to double digit wins, and you know we kinda just hired his ******* RB coach. oh btw they still put up 300 yards on the ground today. we lost to middle tennessee at home. stop w the Mario is the best. hes not. Lane could out coach him in a heartbeat. Nick Saban trusted him enough to cal plays (he didnt allow Gattis, he didnt allow Enos)

only at Miami would you give 10 for 8 mil a year for a dude just over .500.

A dude that has never coached as a HC in a national title game.. 8 F’n million for 10.

A dude that has absolutely no idea how to manage a clock.

A dude that prefers a pro style offense.. that pros doesn’t even run anymore.

We’re cursed.
To be fair he was 35-13 at Oregon

Fair enough.. but that’s still not 8 million a year worthy.

He also displayed all the issues he’s always had as an HC.. in 4 quarters tonight.
What's 8M per year worthy? Mel Tucker just got that for one good season after he went 7-12 before that. Any proven HC with a lot of success at a big program will get bank and Mario won 2 PAC 12 titles as a HC.

In an absolute Garbage Pac10...with USC...UCLA and Washington being obsolete.

could've gotten lane for half of that without a decade long commitment lol. we hired a average HC who is so old school leather helmets are worn and we can't even fire him bc the buyout is prolly ridiculous bc hes boys w mas and Ruiz

Everyone needs a joint, a stiff drink and take their *** to bed. The sun will rise tomorrow.

Holy ****

I don’t even care about his FIU record. I saw enough at Oregon to say, he should have been option 3
Agreed. But he had all of drinking the kool-aid after what he did recruiting for his first 7 months here and the coaching staff he assembled and saying all the right things but when it was time to lace it up it’s been a whole different story.

He’s turned Ole Miss and FAU around his last 2 stops in a year and 2 years to 10 win teams. He doesn’t do it with recruiting or bringing in “his guys” he does it by putting the players he has inherited into positions where they could succeed. But we wouldn’t know what any of that would look like in the last 20+ years.

You’re saying he can’t recruit? Cool.

He’s a good coach.

Maybe he’ll stay at Ole Miss longer than the four years he was at USC (fired) or the three at FAU.

Discounting the success he had at Oregon is so disingenuous :pgdead:

You can make fair arguments against him being a poor gameday coach without doing that lol
