#8 in Coaches and AP poll

Being #8 puts a target on the Canes back. Two weeks will be time to show the world that the Canes belong in the CFB discussion. This bye week should give the Canes an opportunity to clean up those penalties, drops, muffed punts and defensive lapses that could really cost us against the elite opponents.

Although the Canes have some things to work on, I have to recognize that the Canes have improved dramatically each week, from UAB, to UL and now FSU. Perhaps, as the players and coaches coaches get to know each other better, we will see this team get into something special. Clemson is the barometer that this program will measure itself. A good performance in two weeks will definitely put the Canes back into that national discussion where they deserve to be.

This is the way I want it. Playing well, a chance to improve, with a chance to go on the road right into the current king of the mountain, Clemson, and beat them—I would want it no other way❗️

Oklahoma certainly took a dive, moving down 13 spots. 😂 I though Pitt should be ranked higher than 25. And then there are the ranked 0-0 teams. Not sure how they explain that. Some of those SEC teams will beat themselves down the rankings. Play respectable against Clemson and win the rest, and UM will finish in the top 10 this year. Pull the upset against Clemson in the ACC championship, and it's playoffs.

UGA is in UF's head like Miami is in FSUs. 3 years in a row. If at the swamp, I could see them breaking the streak. I don't think UF will beat UGA in Athens.

Funny that people saying UGA has no QB. Neither did UF last year until Franks got replaced. Stetson Bennett came in 2nd quarter and helped UGA put 35 points on the board. He also has a solid QB name. Stetson. Underrated part of being a QB.

Notre Dame looked like dog**** for a good portion of their game against Duke. As usual they are way overrated as well. Some teams are given their rankings and some teams have to earn them.

Having said that I think they are average at best. Trask had all day, either their Oline is great or Ole Miss Dline is trash, I'm leaning to the latter. They don't play anyone but you know the sec teams get gassed up on the polls so they will beat a few fraudulently ranked teams to look good.

Uga will figure out there QB situation, so that won’t be a weakness when they face Florida but I don’t think it’ll matter with that defense Georgia has. Holy **** that defense is good and is gonna eat Trash and Armpit alive. They’ll bracket Pitts taking him out of the game, they have no other skill players on offense that can beat that Georgia defense. Oh and trask and his cinderblock shoes will be running for his life from that Dline. Georgia wins running away, of course that’s what happens when you get top 3 recruting classes 5 years in a row.

The QB room won’t look that same when JT Daniels is cleared. Mark my words on that. Stone shoes trash will be running for his life from that defense because you better believe they’ll bracket Pitts taking him out of the game because uga knows no one else on that O can beat there D.
