Okay, we've been pretty **** terrible most of the season & losing 4 in a row has been absolutely horrendous considering the way we've been losing these games.
All of them have been winnable, even Va Tech, we've just completely sh*t the bed in multiple phases of the game, mostly on Offense & Special teams, but the Defense has had its moments where they've gotten gashed as well.
I've had no major issue with the Defense at all this season, first year in a new system & they've more than exceeded expectations & have pretty much carried us through the season.
If the Offense played halfway decent vs FSU, UNC, Va Tech & Notre Dame we would be undefeated.
Obviously we're not, but this 3 & out Offense has basically crippled our team & cost us games.
With all of that said, we're sitting at 4-4 about to play a Pitt team that has very high powered offense & a subpar defense.
*IF we can figure out a way to actually win this **** game, is there any way possible we go on a run and finish 8-4?
The obvious answer should be a resounding no. Realistically speaking we would be lucky to finish 6-6... But 8-4 is still very possible...
Our last 4 games are Pitt, @ Virginia, @ NC State & home vs Duke, all 4 very winnable games if this team can quit ****** around and put together a full 4 quarter ballgame.
The delusional irrational fan in me is hoping the Football Gods will be satisfied enough with our misery & stop punishing us, but overall another loss this season would be a total disaster.
I'm hoping & praying this team can find it in themselves to defy the odds & pull it off.
