That's the key distinction.

We can have a better team, better season, and win more games. That does not mean Beck is better.

We can only hope Beck surpasses Ward but that is a monumental task. We just need him to be our 2nd best QB and the defense to be much improved to be a better team.

Need to replace a lot on offense, defense and kicker.... and have improved corching.

This year QB 1 is great. Lost 1 TE that actually made an impact, but theTE room is good, remember Arroyo had potential but didn’t do much before last season. I see the same this season, but more options. Replace the OLs lost with just as good players and another year for the other 3. The RB room will pick up where they left off, all 3 guys are quality backs. The only thing I’m worried about is replacing the top 2 WR production.

With that being said, we have seen a lot of mid and for the older folks, they have personally seen elite. We all know what quality football players look like. I know there are guys that haven’t produce in a Cane uniform but we all know when we see talent. This team has quality at TE, RB, WR, OL, and QB. And when on the same page any team would have trouble stopping.

I don't think Beck will be as good as Cam, but the funny thing is you could swap the names and it'd still make sense lol. Well I'd add lots of moments of great for Cam... but Idk who wasn't saying WTF on the crossbody/field INTs to nobody Cam was making though lol
 
The thing is, we don’t really need him to be. With the O-Line expected to be one of the best in the country, combined with the depth and talent we have at RB, we should be one of the most balanced offenses in college football. Also, if the defense is dramatically improved we won’t need to light the scoreboard up as much as we did last year.

Will he be or do the magic stuff cam did no. Can he statistically have a better season Yes. The entire nation seems to forget becks worse season stat wise is all these qb’s they are s*cking off’s best season.
 
No, but the team won't need him to be. Beck will ball out this season and will be a 1st rounder!
