The reason we seem to be lower is an SEC lovefest. There are seven SEC teams in the top 12 (Florida is 10th) including spots 1, 4, 5, and 6. Louisville is the highest ranked ACC team at 2nd. There 8 ACC teams, but six of them are the back half of the rankings.

ESPN publishes the coaches poll to my knowledge so of course it's flooded with SEC team
 
The good news is that the polls literally mean nothing in college baseball. Finish in the top four of the ACC and don't blow midweek games and we're at least hosting. Win our division and we have a shot at a national seed.
