He would be a great get! However, I'm not sure about UM's chances, because he attends Champagnat Catholic.

Valentine-Okeke wowed everyone as soon as he walked in the door. He is absolutely massive with very broad shoulders, long arms and is really aggressive. The most impressive thing about Valentine-Okeke was how athletic he is. At the snap of the ball, he would quickly get into his set, get a strong punch on the defensive lineman and be able to reset in good position regardless of what counter-move his opponent tried. The big man earned MVP honors among a deep offensive line group. Valentine-Okeke is wide open, but has visited Florida State and Miami and will visit Alabama in Auburn in a few weeks. -- Adam Friedman, Mid-Atlantic recruiting analyst

The exchange student from *****ia could bond with Sunny Odogwu over stories from the homeland. An the best part is they can communicate in Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo (the 3 dominant languages in the country 2nd only to English) this way Genron an his Runners won't understand a word of what they are saying.

Doubt they both speak all 3 languages. Usually an either/or depending on the tribe that they're from.

An Odogwu can mentor Okeke on blocking techniques, which will further help getting him to UM as part of the 2016 Class following in his mentors footsteps by then Odogwu will be a Senior.

According to an older thread they both speak one common language other than English since they are from the same tribe in *****ia. But even so having the tribal *****ian bond will be huge. It just like when you travel abroad an run into an American expatriate, the two you generally bond over national commonalities.

Go Canes

There is a thread on this already but thanks for starting another meaningless thread.

Developing Story: Four-star @ArmyAllAmerican OL @OkekeChidi96 moving to Atlanta? http://247sports.com/Article/Four-star-OL-Okeke-moving-to-Atlanta--29840069 … @ChampagnatLions @bartonsimmons

The next time you see four-star offensive tackle Chidi Okeke-Valentine, a U.S. Army All-American, playing it appears it won’t be in south Florida but rather in Atlanta.

Chidi Okeke-Valentine's future school is up in the air.

According to Hialeah (FL) Champagnat Catholic coach Mike Tunsil, the nation’s No. 10 offensive tackle in the 2016 class has left his program.

“He’s departed with a group of men from the Ejike Ugboaja Foundation claiming to be his legal guardian,” Tunsil first told 247Sports.com on Friday afternoon.

The coach and Champagnat’s head master met with the faction and Okeke-Valentine mid-day at the school.

“They decided he’s going to go to a private school in Atlanta near the Ejike Ugboaja Foundation,” Tunsil said. “He won’t be back here. They left without any paperwork, too, so he hasn’t officially transferred but that’s where he will be at as they are driving up there right now with him.”

The No 9 junior in the state of Florida camped at Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Auburn last week.

“Once we got back down to Florida, Okeke has been with them since,” Tunsil noted.

The Crystal Ball reads 75-percent for LSU and 25-percent for Florida State for the nation’s No. 71 overall pros

Not really.

Atlanta is only 4 hrs from Tallahassee and his boy Abdul Bello committed to FSU this week so IMO he'll be going to FSU.

But at least he's away from that f*ck boy Genron.

I would rather have this kid go to another school than ours because he is no longer a hometown guy, then to have Jon drummond enjoy the spotlight with this kid.

Or maybe he'll really miss Miami living in Atlanta and decide that's where he wants to play.... Be optimistic people.

If they want him in Atlanta to be closer to that foundation then that's great for UGA. That's if they want him around there long term of course.

Gotta keep Sonny on him and hope he really appreciates who discovered him and offered him first.

That whole ordeal seems shady from beginning to end....So some guys complaining to be his guardian just upped and took the kid from them overnight? Sounds like the same weird **** that happened to Tracy McGrady when he was in HS..I dont even know if I would want this kind of drama anyway. Whos to say if he choses UM they wont do the same thing..Tell him that the foundation has moved to the west coast and he needs to transfer to USC or some ****. I dont knw..maybe im looking too much into it. Hope the kid is in good hands.

His group is gonna shop him around had he stayed with bello be would have been at fsu...now this almost guarantee he's sec bound
