If Poyser misses there it at least slows the ball carrier down trying to make a move where if he’s less aggressive the guy gets momentum and can probably make him miss into a big play

This is something that would drive me nuts with Jaden Harris. He would press the pause button before getting to the ball carrier and just wait. Then got smoked everytime as he stands still.

Whole db room other than Scott and Thomas should be back, mix in some of the young guys with a year under their belt, and the incoming freshman class has some dudes in it.

It’s ridiculous how fast we went from possibly the worst secondary I’ve ever watched at Miami to the current situation. It’s not just a band-aided room as a one year fix, there’s depth there.
 
Lucas keeps taking horrible angles on outside runs. He loses the sideline and routinely gives up 30 yard runs. Lucas is a disappointment. Dmari is inconsistent. OJ is cheeks. I don’t know what u guys watch but our secondary is ***. Our safeties are feast or famine

Not saying we have the best DB room in the country and youve been a porster for years so I probably shouldn’t waste key strokes, but if you think our DB room/coaching is a$$ then I encourage you to find Jesus

I think he’s being sarcastic. How does Lucas routinely give up 30 yard runs when the defense as a whole has had like three 30 yard runs the entire year. Lol. Also, Lucas knocked VT #27 out of the game with a perfect form tackle. No one talks about it, but we were having trouble with 27. Lucas sent him to the locker room about 1.5 quarters to go.

I agree about Lucas taking bad angles on outside runs but besides that what the **** are you talking about lmao
 
hoping for a similar turn around this offseason in the LB room. Really the weak link on the defense right now. Not terrible but really the only group that worries me they can get exposed by a good OC.
 
Lucas and poyser are young and pretty raw still I think. We’ve got some players for the future. We also have guys coming in
