so basically there is nothing he can do to convince you he has no problems with UM besides push kids to the school?

Fact: The head coach at BTW trashes the U all over the media pretending that the U has done his players wrong.

Fact: Dude then ***** foots around questions when asked about the U and his players. Playing the PR game, trying to cover his ***, cause he's gotta know in the future this **** is gonna come back to haunt him with The Boss.

Fact: Numerous BTW players have been playing Miami since Al took over. Many rumors from people in the know which paint a much different story than the bullshyt that they put out there. From the Kirkland double silent commitment to the U and FSU rumors, to the traitor's asinine, hate for UM filled speech, to Bethel's comments not too long ago about coaches getting mad at practice when he throws up the U.

For you to sit there and try to paint a picture of this guy being for the U and not a total douche is totally absurd. The proof is in the pudding. 3 strikes and you're out, as in the case of BTW and it's head coach. I have a feeling that Bethel will not pick the U. If this happens and the other guys keep on playing games, pull the offers, don't let them play the U again.

He sent two kids to the U. He has worked for the U. He says great things about the U. He acted like a female one time.
So again there is nothing he can do to ever prove he has nothing against Miami but push players to the school?

That all it takes for me. Especially a man with 2 son's who have graduated from the Miami and has earned his degree from said university. But you're a gator so we're going to think differently.

Yup, acting like a female is perfectly normal to gators

He didn't send two kids to the U. They were LUCKY enough to receive scholarships from one of the TOP institutions of higher learning in the country. One of them, while he was a coach at the U. He showed no loyalty at all to said university, especially at a time when we needed it the most (going through the NCAA witch hunt). You can't tell me he didn't know that Kirkland and the traitor weren't playing the U. Dude knew all along and did nothing about it. Character starts from the top on down. From the looks of it, DK and the unmentionable one were only behaving like they were taught to behave. If you don't believe me, read Bethel's comments again about the reaction from BTW coaches when the U is thrown up at practice. Furthermore, I have a bridge to sell you in Iceland.

It is not like his kids were Ray Lewis the III they could play. I do agree with you that character starts at the top and Ice needs to look in the mirror but what should Ice do with his kids? I think it is reasonable he didn't know Kirkland was playing games. Sometimes these kids own parents dont know what is going on. But I will ask the question again is the only way he can prove he has no problems with the U is to push his kids that the fans want to the program?

First of all, no need to disrespect Ray-Ray. Kid can play and he will prove it out on the field, just like his dad did. Not with paper stars, but with heart, soul, determination and hard work. Second, how could his coach not know. These guys are like these kids dads in a lot of cases. They discuss pretty much everything from, school to football to real life. In my opinion he knew and let it go on, then seizing the opportunity to bash the U and get some payback for his boy, Randy. Finally, to answer your question. If he was doing right by the institution that gave him and his family the chance to be somebody, the least he could do is be truthful about the U and it's legacy, education and family like atmosphere which is revered. From all accounts, he has not done this, but done quite the opposite.

CaneTheGaytors he has said good things about Golden and Miami since the incident so I will ask one more times is the only way he can prove he has no problems with the U is to push his kids that the fans want to the program? It the answer is yes cool. Then it is never going to happen and Ice is always going to be the enemy until he retires

I answered your question in my previous post. I've tried to maintain a civil tone with you, considering you're a Gaytor and on our board, not the other way around. Don't pretend like you didn't see my last response. I gave you a clear cut answer and you **** on it. Did you not take reading comprehension at any time in your life. I will re-post the part where I answered your question.

You can be upstanding and have character without having to push kids to your alma mater. It's called having class. But I'm sure none of the high school coaches in Florida push kids to certain universities...cough...cough...Dwyer.

When he says something like: "the U is a great institution and I am proud to have 2 kids who were student/athletes at this prestigious institution. I also attended the U as well as coached there, and think it is up there with any institution of higher learning in the continental United States, hands down. I would highly recommend the U to any of my kids at BTW if they inquired about it or if they were offered by the Miami Hurricanes."

See, this way he's not saying, "you have to go to the U, or else" like the cheerleader's coach, but still being classy and positive about it. last I checked, he hasn't remotely done this in any of his interviews.

BTW interesting you bring up Dwyer where the coach has basically said if a kid wants to go to UF he would tell them to think about it again now

Yeah, after how many years of doing everything in his power to **** on the U and promote UF without any shame. After UF repeatedly **** the bed with his kids, now people like you are trying to make him look like some kind of patron saint. That should tell you all you need to know about his character and that of your coaches.

he sent kids to other schools as well and UF never did anything bad to his kids.

If you call lying to his kids not doing anything bad, then I guess you have a point. And please don't give me the old excuse that all coaches lie to recruits. From all accounts, Al Golden and staff are straight up with kids. Some of them might not like what they're told, and decide not to come here because they can't handle the truth. But most kids respect a man who is exactly that, a man. Not some bytch liar like Muschump, Meyer, etc.

When did Muschamp lie to some Dywer kids? They all got beat out for spots

Jacoby Brisset, for one, was not beat out. Driskell is a joke as a passer. If he hadn't been the number 1 rated QB in his class and promised the job by Charlie Weiss, he would have been the backup. Brisset wasn't great either, but looked better than Driskell when he got his few chances.

Well 11-2 says he was beat out. Driskel won the job because he is a better runner not because of who was a better passer. They needed the best athlete at the position because of the oline play in passing situations. If you watched the team last year it was evident I bet you didn't think UF would go 11-2 last year. So like I said non of the kids were lied to they just got beat out.

Brisset got beat out and his coach went to the media and cried about it. Muschamp and Jack Daniels have talked since Daniel says he has no hard feelings. He says he wont steer kids away but he will have a talk with them about that decision especially if it is for offense. He is just looking out for the best interest of his players right or wrong.

You seem to be thinking the issue is how he can convince you or me whether he has ongoing problems with the U or has in fact gotten over them. Personally, I don't think that's relevant. You're free to believe whatever hogwash comes out in an interview if you want, but I'll reserve judgment on that. Because I ultimately don't care for him to try to convince me of his problems with the U. The reality is, time will tell.

So no, there isn't anything he can SAY right now that will convince me that he has no problems with the school. Because words don't mean isht. It's actions that will reveal his true feelings over time. His words will translate into outcomes over time. And we can infer from them a lot.

Oh, and your smamry little self-serving strawman 'besides pushing kids to the school' marks you as a butthurt loser in this exchange.

Hate, you mention Ice sending two kids to UM and also working there. Are you saying that it's not possible for Ice to have some issues with Golden considering the UM job you mentioned ended when Golden came aboard?
