total defense and scoring defense.

I'll update this thread as the season goes on, as I did last year.

So much for "Miami style defense"......

I'll take them playing aggressive, shooting gaps, press man coverage that they did last night, to the passive D that they usually put out there

problem is we didn't do it enough. when we did slant the line and let the DL play one gap you saw chad, AQM, and others make some TFL in the run game. the next coach that comes in will have some players in the 4-3 with chad and AQM on the edge, and Norton playing the 1 tech. going to need a penetrating 3 tech (moten, mcintosh?)

They gave up over 500 yards last night. You people need to understand its not about "press man" and "shooting gaps". These coaches are complete amateurs and have no clue how to run ANY DEFENSE. there isn't any quick change these coaches can employ. They get exposed badly no matter what they try.
