60 minutes - Saban about recruiting - every single play.

Did he watch film on his NFL draft picks?

Who cares?

I do. Because I don't buy the hype story that he gains his advantage from watching "every single play." Isn't that the title of the ****ing thread?

If he doesnt watch film then he goes by the star rankings which r a myth to some on here. If 5 star goes else where we say oh ed reed was a negative 4 star but if 5 star chooses UM hes the next ed reed.

I'm not saying he doesn't watch film. I really have no idea what he does with his evaluations. I just know these stories come off as fluff - in fact, more of a recruiting angle than reality. Plus, **** him.

AGree I think he checks the ranking and picks who deserving of it and recruits the **** out of them.

I still have no clue how we beat him out for Deon.

**** we have to beat him and FSU out for any home grown stud if not they will come back to bite us in the ***. Gotta get Cook hes that difference maker this year IMO especially after seeing Freeman who I knew would kill us. You cant coach speed and Cook got it, we can recruit every position but there no excuse for not getting at least the top 2 backs in dade every year/

It's easy to watch the film when you have 500 assistants. Kevin Steele is the director of player personnel. This is a former HC and Bama DC.

The guy is a great college football coach, probably top 5 ever. It's real easy to do these things with the funds they have. But Money doesn't equal success, it just aids it.
