6-foot-3 IOL rising junior Hunter Hill reacts to Miami offer: "It was a surreal moment"
Class of 2028 interior offensive lineman Hunter Hill reported an offer from Miami football earlier today.
Hill currently attends Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia. He now holds early offers from the likes of Miami, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and others.
"It was a surreal moment," Hill told CanesInSight. "Growing up watching college football, you always know about "The U" and the legendary history there, so getting that official nod is a huge blessing."
Miami Hurricanes offensive linemen coach Alex Mirabal was the one to reach out to Hill to tell him the news.
"My family and I were just incredibly hyped and grateful. Coach Mirabal actually delivered the news to me on the phone. Hearing that from the O-Line coach himself just made it that much more special and showed me how serious they are about me."
"Coach Mirabal and the rest of the staff are incredibly genuine, and you can tell they are building something fiercely competitive. They don't just talk about family; you can actually feel it in the way they communicate and recruit. Plus, the city of Miami speaks for itself the atmosphere, the passionate fan base, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level are all major checkmarks for me," Hill told CanesInSight.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is currently viewed as a three-star prospect. He ranks as the nation's No. 348 player, No. 22 inside offensive linemen, and No. 42 out of the Peach State.
