Their entire leadership team from Plowman down is a clown show. Look no further than how the hiring of Pruitt even happened and how Phil got the job in the first place. It's a zoo
 
Tennessee has about 8-10 people in the chain of command that want to run the football program.

They all have differing opinions. Then they hired Fulmer who is as filthy and corrupt as they come in the good ole boy coalition.

Blake James doesn’t really know his *** from a hole in the ground regarding football or coaching hires and so on.. but thankfully our chain of command is pretty clear with Donna out of the picture and Blake does what he wants and Manny and Blake seem to have a good working relationship and are on the same page. Just wish he/they could do it better.

But there’s no other way to be successful than a clear and cohesive unit.. look at all of the teams that have no clarity - Texas, Tennessee, USC, Auburn, FSU etc - they all have people from the BOT, Boosters, President, AD, HC, etc that want to run the program how they see fit.
 
That being said.. Wanya Morris was close with Will Friend and now he’s stuck in this investigation where they implemented a hiring freeze and they don’t expect clarity on their OL coach anytime soon. Steele got in the door because Fulmer brought him in.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Auburn, also heard GT is in the picture, UNC, and Oklahoma, and expecting Texas to take a shot.

Friend is a terrible coach and none of their guys progressed but he will be very good.

yeah, he had loads of talent on that OL, too. Morris, Wright, et al.

Given the state of Arizona's offensive line, it wouldn't be shocking if the front office spent multiple picks on linemen in the next few years.

Wanya Morris was one of the most athletic offensive tackles coming out of his high school class; he was graded as a five-star recruit.

Texas, Tennessee, USC, and Auburn would all smoke Miami on the field. ****, we lost to OKLAHOMA STATE. That's like the NC State of the Big 12. We ain't beating Texas, or any SEC team, or any team more talented than us like USC.

We overachieved this year with 8 wins. Should really have been more like 5 or 6, if a few bounces hadn't gone our way and we didn't have a Heisman candidate transfer QB.
