5 teams fighting for 2 spots

we owe all of those teams revenge, hopefully this year turns out to be special. I think the team is only going to get better under Mario but with TVD, kam, matt lee, and a few others leaving, it's hard to imagine next year's team having the same ceiling that this year's team does

If we end the season with double digit wins, we’re going to clean up in the portal and should be able land another top-10 recruiting class. I don’t expect the drop off to be monumental. Obviously, replacing TVD is our priority mission.

Worth noting; Every team on that list plays Clemson, with the exception of Louisville.

I think it's the opposite - the train is just leaving the station.

This team isn't the culmination of years and years of stellar recruiting. It's a couple of good-to-very-good recruiting classes and some nice Portal additions patched together to form a good football team.

It only gets better from here - we don't have anything like the depth of quality Cristobal wants. The drop off on the Dline is stark, for example, and the secondary is nowhere near as good as it could / should be.

Essentially the only room that looks anything like it will do in the future is the RB room, where we have 6 quality P5 players / starters.

Can’t forget Clemson on this list. They should have won that game.
They would have if they didn't play for a FG with a College Kicker that was hours away from graduating and leaving for a desk job in NYC after 4 years of never kicking a ball for them in anger.

Y'know - corching stuff.

Clemson is out of contention. 2 ACC losses.

I don't think they are out of it IF THEY WIN OUT.

If they do that, they are giving most teams on the list at least one of the two ACC losses needed to force a tiebreaker.

And with a lot of teams playing one another, there will be carnage. Oh, and Clemson needs Duke to lose.

Clemson will be "out" when it takes its third ACC loss.

I have Clemson losing next week up in the dome. Cuse always gives Clemson issues, even when they were National Title contenders

**** so thats an easy W for everybody. Louisville gotta be like **** were missing out on

They gotta win out. They're still in it. We're about to see the ACC start beating themselves from here and out. Clemson has to win in Miami to stay alive

FSU and Louisville and UNC have it easy.
Agreed. That's why UNC and Louisville are must wins and 2 conference losses won't cut it.

Take care of GT who looked good yesterday, then UNC. Beat Clemson and I'll feel good about getting to Charlotte. Lose to UNC or Clemson and likely we'd have to win out. Two conference losses won't cut it.

Clemson is cooked. They have to win out and Duke and FSU have to lose 3 games. Miami, UNC, and Louisville would have to lose twice. If any 2 of teams mentioned above don't lose the required games, then Clemson is done even if they were to win out.

All that and Dabo has to convince his team they still have something to play for.

The wheels will fall off when we beat them at home. I see an 8-4 or 7-5 season for Clemson.
