Not much consolation, but silver plattering a game doesn't even do that one justice..it had so little to do with him or his squad. If you told me that you had inside info that we threw the game on purpose because our defense was so bad we couldn't bear to move forward, I would buy it.

Totally agree he had little to no impact on the outcome. To lose after being up 21-0 with the best player in the country on your side, hurts though. It’s a pain that’ll haunt me every November

I really didn’t think he’d do it. I have family that’s friends with former players and he said there was recent buzz that he’d sign with us. I have no idea how tied in they are. I told him Il believe it when I see it. As a WR, it’s a terrible decision. Certain positions you can make an impact regardless of the talent surrounding you. If nobody is getting you the ball, your just out there running routes. Would have been fire to see him and Tony together.
