5-star WR Calvin Russell commits to [checks notes] Syracuse? For real, though... Syracuse

Cam Ward has elite intangibles. That’s part of what makes him what he is.

You mentioned TO. Why did so many teams get rid of him in his prime?

If I was building a franchise of GOATs, Moss would be like WR3/4 on my roster. Dude could be the greatest WR of all time of course, but was more of a headache than Calvin and Jerry. The thing saving him from falling further is like TO/AB being. Complete headaches. Tyreek Hill could fill a Moss role and is a headache too, but that’s mostly been problems off the field whereas Moss 1000% quit while a Raider.

Calvin, Rice, then Moss. Then you get into TO, Larry, Marvin Harrison, Andre, Julio, AB. And as a Raiders fan in late 90s/2ks I loved Tim Brown…Reggie, Sterling Sharpe, Tyreek, etc

To me, it’s Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Marvin Harrison, Andre Johnson and then a huge gap.

Randy Moss was dominant at what he did but he had holes in his game and was immature. The rest of the guys (TO, Antonio Brown) had severe emotional problems.

If you get traded multiple times in your prime, you don’t qualify for the top group IMO.

Where’s Irvin? Easily better than to, Larry, julio and ab

Fitz is not in the same ballpark as Randy, Jerry, and Calvin.

He's obviously an all-time great. But when you get to literal GOAT conversations, you have to split hairs.

He led the league in catches twice. He led the league in TDs twice. He was a first-team All-Pro once.

Randy led the league in TDs five times. He was first-team All-Pro 4 times. He was in the Top 5 in OPOY voting 3 times.

Calvin only played 9 seasons and was first-team All-Pro three times.

Rice is obviously the statistical GOAT.

For me, it's those 3 and then everyone else, including Larry.
Eh Larry never played with an elite QB, the best QB in his career was a grey haired Kurt Warner.

If Larry had played with any top 10 QB for 8-10 years he would’ve finished with more all pros than almost anyone imo. Andre kinda similar

Randy Moss was the best vertical receiver ever and the best go-up-and-get-it receiver ever.

He was also a distraction everywhere he went, had zero physicality, gave you nothing over the middle and nothing after the catch unless he had a clear runway

Give me guys with 95% of his talent, more complete games, and zero BS. There’s a reason nobody was trading Calvin, Fitz and Andre.

I can’t. Give me moss over all 3 of those guys all day. Moss has unreal speed and stride that you just can’t clock.

As a bengals fan, everyone here is sleeping on AJ green. If he hadn’t been exiled to cincy with dalton as his qb, he’d be a first ballot hall of famer

I’ve seen some bias Cane takes , but never so skewed as Dre over Randy Moss

This
I love Dre, but nah…

Randy Moss is my favorite athlete of all time, so I’ve stayed away from this because Jesus Christ himself could not do anything to convince me that he isn’t the greatest WR to ever walk this earth.

I went into the 1998 Vikings-Bucs game through the pit as an 8 year old rocking a Warrick Dunn shirt for my first NFL game. Happened to be Moss first regular season game. I was new to NFL but brother was a big Warrick Dunn guy (FSU fan). I walked out the stadium that day thinking I saw god's gift to football and been a Vikings fan ever since. Moss and Sean Taylor my GOATs.

He moss'd Charles Woodson.
He's bullied Terrance Newman.
Cooked Ronde Barber as a rookie.

He had SEVEN different QBs during his first stint in Minnesota.

He walked on water. PERIOD.

This is an objectively incorrect statement.

rice, Irvin, to, Fitz weren’t insanely fast. 4.5 types

Moss could take the top off any D and catch over any. Very different WRs.

Give me Moss as the best long ball WR ever.
Give me Rice as the best possession WR
Give me larrgent as the best slot.
