Newest Miami Hurricanes edge rusher commit Jaiden Bryant, who flipped his commitment from LSU to Miami, spoke with CanesInSight D$ shortly after pulling the trigger.

The two discussed why he made the decision to flip his commitment, what is next for the recruiting class, and what he brings to the table as a Hurricane.

On his last couple of days since he joined to be a Hurricane...

It's been really exciting. I feel like I'm entering a new space in my life right now. So, yeah, these last few days have been a movie. It's just been a movie.

On the moment in his recruitment that made him pull the trigger to flip to Miami...

The family, the connection that I got with these guys, it just felt, it just felt too real to not be here, you know? So I just came down to an agreement with my family. We just pulled the trigger and now we're here.

On why it was important to come right back to Miami after his commitment...

So they know that it's real, that my commitment is real and I'm really here and that I'm staying here for good.

On Jason Taylor..

I say this a lot. He said to everybody said, two first-rounders, you can't beat that, you know? So it's really important for him.

On what he is bringing to Miami...

A real physical pass off the ball. I'm a leader, you know? I like when my teammates make plays. I like to bring them up. I don't really put my players down. I pick them up. You know what I'm saying? We down. We just back up as a team on my back if I need to, you know? So I'm just all around a key piece to any team I'm on.

On his mindset for finishing off this class and getting to know the people that are already in it...

Really get my guys together and go get a ring, you know? Get a natty. I'm ready for it. I'm ready to play football right now.
